"Beomgyu? Come here," I heard someone familiar calling me. I looked around and the only thing surrounding me was darkness.

"Son? Don't you want to see us?" I tried to find where the voice was coming from.

"Beomgyu~" both of the voice said in unison.

The voices were coming from a very bright part of the room. I covered my eyes with my hands to shield them from the brightness. Once my vision adjusted, there I saw 2 people I missed so much.

"Mom... Dad..." I whispered, unsure if what I'm seeing is real.

My mom gave me a soft smile. "Let's go home Beomgyu," she said and both of them reached out their hands to me.

I reached for their hands-

"Beomgyu~"

I looked around to see where the voice was coming from.

"Wake up now please... I miss you so much."

𝙒𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨?

"The book hasn't ended yet... Our story hasn't ended yet..."

𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠?𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮?

"I know you can hear me... It doesn't matter if it takes you years to wake up... Just don't leave me okay? I'll be here when you wake up, I promise."

𝙎𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙖 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢?

"I love you Beomgyu, don't leave me please."

Suddenly, flashbacks began to play in my head.

I'm seeing me being happy with a guy... But I can't clearly make out his face.

"Beomgyu? Is everything okay?" I heard my dad ask.

As the flashback keeps playing, the more I'm making out his face.

"Beomgyu, honey, we don't have much time... Let's go now," my mom said as he held my hand.

I'm now seeing a guy in the middle of the road... without hesitation I ran to him and pushed him away from danger... I began to whisper the words "I love you-"

"Taehyun..." I whispered to myself.

I tried to look for a way out but couldn't find any.

My mom held my face and wiped my tears. My dad then embraced me, looking at me with pity.

"I'm sorry son," my dad said.

They looked at each other for a long time.

"You will no longer feel pain, I promise. Trust us, okay?" my mom said.

I nodded and held both of their hands.

"Let's go home," my dad said with a soft smile as we walked through the light.
