Once they fought Mina easily defeated him again "hm you're as weak as ever Mihawk" one of the children said he's not weak he even beat grown-ups" Mina walked away leaving Mihawk to train later that night Mihawk told Mina to fight him with a real sword Mina easily beat him again and says "I'm giving up being a swordsman" "huh why?" "because I'm a girl" "that doesn't change anything please promise me that one of us will become the world's greatest swordsman" "OK then I promise"
