Chapter 10

Gianna pov

Man its been a lot going on in my mind like fr. I just cant believe Javohn took Jayla from school and the school let him. How yall let somebody walk in yall school and take a child. Without the parent approval. Like what.

I cant lie im mad. But at least ik she was safe. She said she had fun. I told Javohn ill talk to him about it but for now just wait. Because im still processing my mind about this.

I told him he shouldve just called or texted and we could've talked. He know im not the type to take His child from him. Even though he wasn't there before dont mean he dont wanna bond with her. I told him this already.

But for him to do what he did was wrong. Point blank.

"Mommy when am i going back to Mr. Javohn" Jayla asked me

"Soon. Just wait" i said doing Kennedy hair

"Well can i call him" She asked

"I dont have his number. He called me off somebody else phone" i told her

"I got his number. Its on my bracelet" She showed me

"Go get your phone" I told her

"YAYYY" She yelled running off

"Why she so happy" Kentrell asked coming downstairs

"Kids are always happy" i said

"But she finna call her dad. I guess thats why" I told him

"Oh okay. Heyy daddy sweet girl" He said kissing Kennedy

"Me come with u" Kennedy said getting her shoes

"Come on girl" He laughed picking her up

"We gone be back" he said kissing me leaving

I waites for Jayla to come back downstairs so she can call Javohn

"I had to find it" She said coming downstairs

She dialed his number her sat on the couch while it rang.

"Hello" He said confused because he couldn't see Jayla face

"Hi" Jayla said putting her face in the camera

"Hey Jayla" He said smiling hard

"So what you doing" She asked

"Nothing at the mall. Wyd u having fun" he asked

"Im doing Nothing. I just got done with my homework" She said

"U gotta right" he asked

"Yep I'm smart" She smiled

He laughed a little.

I walked to the kitchen and let them talk a little.

It felt kinda good dat she can talk to her dad yk. They never really had a bond like they was suppose to. Because Things that happen in the past. Yk he was kinda dumb and sint wanna help out with her. So i moved and we lost contact. Well i changed my number. And I had my reasons. It wasn't him tho.

"One day. Hopefully soon ok" I heard Him say

"Imma ask mommy. Im coming back" she told him

"Mommy can we go to the mall plz plz plz" she said running to me

"When Jayla" i laughed

"Right now. My dad is there. Plzzz" she begged

"Yes hurry up and get yo shoes" i laughed

" SHE SAID YESSSS" She yelled Running off with the phone

I busted out laughing. I swear Jay3is Funny. She be having me dead asf. Like on my worst days. I can try and be mad but Jayla literally blows me bro.

"Come on mom" Jayla already at the door

"U got a jacket" i asked

She went to get her jacket and we left. We got to the mall and we got out. She called her dad and he told her that he was in H&M. We walked down there.

When she spotted her dad she run over to him and he picked her up and hugged her tightly. I smiled and sat down outside the store.

2 hours later

So Jayla and Javohn was just getting done shopping. Jayla sleep and Javohn carrying her around. I was behind them walking.

"Where yo car" Javohn asked me when we got out

I pointed to my car snd unlocked. He put Jayla in and her bags. He kissed her forehead and put something in her pocket before closing the door

"Thank u for letting me see her. And i apologize for Kidnapping her" He said putting air quotes around kidnap

"Your welcome" i said

"And lettme tell u just. U aint gotta try and do dumb shii to see her cuz thats gone make me not want her around u. Because whatchu did was dumb and stupid" i told her

"The same way u got in contact me when u mad and wanna curse me out u could've texted or called me and we could've talked about co-parenting. Yk i would've let u see her. So ion kno why u showed out dat bad like dat" i said

"I got betta fucking sense then dat. And u had her for two whole days without calling me. I kinda figured u had her but thats not the point Javohn. Stop being dumb and open yo mouth" i said

"But i gotta get home. She will call u tomorrow" i said

"Ight bye" he said walking off

I got in the car and drove off. Jayla dad brought her something to eat at the mall. So i just went straight home. When we got home i grabbed Jayla and her bags and we inside. I locked the door and carried Jayla to her room. I took off her shoes and kissed her.

I went to my room and Seen Kentrell was playing the game. I went to take a shower and i laid down and watched Kentrell play the game until i fell asleep.
