Still Friday

Milan's pov

After practices were over i walked to Noah.

"Good job out there!" I high five Noah.

"Thanks." He gave me a genuine smile as we walked out of the football stadium together.

"Im going to be incredibly sore tomorrow." He groaned in pain as he held onto his football bag.

"I bet." I bit my lip as i glance towards my group of friends walking ahead of us.

"Hey um Milan? I'm going to take a shower real quick but do you wanna get some dinner together after I'm done?"

"Yeah sure. Just text me when you're done."

"You take long showers." I teased as i sat at the meet up spot.

"Its because i had to get something for you." He smiled nervously as he sat down at the bench, hiding something behind his back.

"Oh no."

Then there it appeared to be a cup of lemonade.

"Ooo yay." I take it from his hands and took a sip. Soon realizing it has something on the lid.

My eyebrows knitted together as i tried reading it.

Will you go to the dance w/ me?

I smiled at the cup and looked up at him.

"Aw this is cute." I couldn't help but smile.

The dance was Saturday night which is tomorrow.

A part of me was happy someone asked me.

But a big part of me wanted Vinnie to ask me.

But i guess its too late for that now. I couldn't say no. Thats mean.

"Yes i will go with you." I reply to him before offering him a hug.

"Cmon. Lets get something to eat." He beamed with excitement as we got up.

At the diner

"Hey over here!" Bryce called out to us.

We just ordered our food so we made our way towards the table full of Bryce and his group of friends on the football team. As well as all the girlfriends of the boys on the team.

"Sooo what she say?" Blake got all worked up as he pointed the attention towards Noah and I.

"She said yes." Noah turned into a tomato as the guys hyped him up.

I just smiled through it all. Dont get me wrong i like Noah. But not more than friends.

This back to school dance was going to be interesting.

After dinner

Siena's pov

"Thank you for walking me to my dorm." I smiled at Nick who nodded his head and smiled.

"Siena before you go... i was wondering."

"Mhm?"

"Will you go to the dance with me tomorrow? I know its late but i've been so caught up with football and my classes and then i wasnt sure if you already got asked and-"

"Yes, Nick." I cut him off as i nodded my head and laughed at him.

"Yes I'll go with you." I smiled at him.

He wrapped me up in his arms and muttering a thank you.

"Okay... see you then." He kissed my cheek before walking off.
