Chapter 1: In the beginning

Roman's P.O.V.

I'm Roman. I represent creativity. Well at least I'm supposed to. But lately Logan has thought other wise. It seems like no matter how hard I try, how far I go, how long I fight, I always end up crushed all the way back at the beginning. And after a while you get sick of it. Lately I've just let my thoughts wander, not trying to think of ideas or please anyone. I just let them wander. But it seems that my thoughts always end up in the same general area. Self hate.

KIDDO'S, BREAKFAST! Patton yells up the stairs causing me to jump. All the horrible thoughts that had been swirling around in my head were now locked into my head as I put on my fake smile and walked down the stairs to greet my friends.

Remus 's P.O.V.

I was sitting in the middle of my floor playing with some little trinket that I had freely conjured up. Both me and Roman can conjure things but the draw back is that it takes our energy. If we conjure things too big or too frequently, we could pass out due to exhaustion. Now I haven't passed because of conjuring yet, although I've come pretty close to it.Roman on the other hand is a different story. I'm not sure if the others know this, but Roman would do anything for them- even me and Dee for that matter, even if that means putting his own life in danger. Now me and Dee have worked things out with the light sides, and we have a pretty good relationship now. So one time all of us went on a beach trip so we could have some fun and relax for a day.Patton had dragged Logan out from under the umbrella while he was reading a book so that they could build sandcastles together.Roman and Virgil were in the shallow part of the water splashing each other while me and Dee went to go check out a cool nearby cave, that was just a few yards from my brother and the emo. As I was about to enter the cave three big boulders had started tumbling down the top of the cave heading straight (gay) for us, because I may or may not have thrown a pebble at them to see if they were stable. It's obvious they weren't. Non the less, there was no way me and Dee were getting out of the way in time. I was positive that we were going to die, right then and there, so I squeezed my eyes shut and waited for my brutal death, but it didn't happen.I peeked one eye open and was momentarily shocked as I watched Roman conjured the biggest shield I have ever seen in my life. I think Dee was just as shocked as I was because we both just stood there staring in awe as Roman used the shield to protect US! THE DARK SIDES! I personally thought Roman didn't like Dee but I was obviously mistaking. I didn't know what to say. I wanted to thank him and yell at him and hug him all at the same time.
