Mariana and I sit at the tables at the hotel as I buy a margarita and Mariana gets a water.
"So what happened?" Mariana asks me as I look down at my drink and then at her
"Look" i say as i hand her my phone and it shows the picture of Cody and Chase
"No way that's him? Cody?" She says to me as i nod, "yeah and I know about her too, I think she had a thing with someone from the basketball team or something" i say as i shake my head
"I.. I don't even know what to do anymore" i say to her as I take a sip from my drink
"Are you going to confront him? Dude it's just crazy cause you live at his house! Like how is he this -"
"Dumb?" I say as I interrupt her
She laughs softly and nods, "do you think the boys know?"
I shrug, "I hope not? Because then they really didn't tell me anything and just let it happen"
Mariana and I stay talking as I struggle to figure out what I should or shouldn't say to Cody.
