I was so happy
Dad for the first time
Came to pick me up!
I ran upto and gave him a big hug
He fake smiled and squeezed me tight
I couldn't contain my excitment
And told him all about my day
He just nodded not interested
Something was wrong
I knew right away.
But I was good daughter
So I smiled at him
And told him it was all gonna be okay.
