"Lemon" can be defined as a yellow, oval citrus fruit with thick skin and fragrant, acidic juice. The photo above depicts four lemons on a branch. The lemon, Citrus Limon, is a species of small evergreen tree in the flowering plant family Rutaceae, native to South Asia, primarily North eastern India. Lemon fun fact: Lemon trees can produce up to 600 pounds in a year, and can grow up to 20 feet tall.
