As I read the message I was shocked
''Hey dumbass, I was the guy at the coffee shop''
"Why would he dm me?" I whispered
''Yeah, what about it?''
''Nothing Dumbass''
"What is that suppose to mean" I whispered even more confused now
''Wtf why would you dm me at 1 am?''
"Never Mind"
''goodnight.''
I shut off my phone 'what was that about' I think to myself as the medicine kicks in. I wake up around 5:30 from a call from my brother. 'what does he want at 5 am?' I think to myself before I pick up the phone
"Hello?" I say tiredly
"Yeah I'm kind of in the hospital-" My brother starts to say
"What?! What did you do?!" I yell into the phone
"I'll explain later but not now ok?"
"Ok...bye"
"Bye"

I head downstairs and yell "ART!" I hear nothing and walk into the kitchen then, I see a note on the table.
Note-
Hey Y/n I went to take care of your brother, Please stay home and don't do anything irrational.
I start to tear up, 'No Y/n you cant cry' I think to myself 'I'm going out' I run upstairs and throw on a black sweatshirt and black jeans, I grab my phone, keys, headphones and walk out the door. I start heading to the park, I take out my phone and headphones and play some music while I'm walking. When I get to the park I notice the same kids there from yesterday. I ignore them and head to a tree and sit against it.
"What a coincidence," someone says
I take out my headphones quickly and look around for the owner of that voice.
"Relax it's me (y/n)-" todoroki says calmly
"I thought you were someone else.." I say
"What are you doing here again? you were here yesterday afternoon" todoroki responds bluntly
"I came here to take my mind off something," I say
"Looks like you've been crying.." todoroki points out
"It's just allergies.." I say not noticing I've been crying for a while
I look up to todoroki and he gives me a 'you think I'm stupid' look, I stare into his eyes for quite a while, surprisingly they calmed me. After a while of us just staring into each other's eyes my phone rings.
I pick up
"Hello?" I say while todoroki looks at me like he's concentrating
"Yes, Is this (f/n) (l/n)?" the woman says
"Yes, this is them, Is anything wrong?" I ask worriedly
"Your brother has passed due to heart failure," The woman says sadly
I stand there while todoroki is standing next to me listening to the conversation
"Ok....." I say trying not to cry
"I have informed your family about this, I'm so sorry (y/n)" the woman says then hangs up
I stand there still holding my phone, soon enough I drop to my knees and start crying not caring who there to see. I feel todoroki hug me from behind and rub my back.
