"Good luck on your exams Prim" Lily hugged her tightly before she went to take her first exam

Her last exam was divination, which was the hardest test to recieve an O in

"Tell me what you see" the women said and now Prim hoped she would see something

But this time she did see something. She saw a grave headstone. She looked deeper to read a name but it was blurry.

"Someone close to me will die soon" she told the instructor

"Very well"

And just like that her exam was over. She tried to figure out who's grave it was. It might have been her parents because the grave looked expensive and only her family could afford. She didn't think any much of it because the reality was she wouldn't care if either of them died.

Once she finished her exams for the first time in months she felt like she could breathe

"Is that my mum's owl?" A letter flew down on Prims plate

She looked at it confused

"Dear Primrose Avery,

This summer you will be staying in my city house, 12 grimmauld place. Your mother wants you to experience the city and how your life will look like after Hogwarts. I tolerate no nonsense and you will follow all rules I have placed. At Kings Cross meet with my son Regulus and my elf Kreacher will bring you here. I look forward to forming you into the perfect pureblood wife

"No fucking way" Prim reread the letter

"No Prim don't go, she'll kill you" Sirius yanked the letter from her hand

"I don't have an option you read it my mum set this up" She didn't have an appetite anymore

"Are you okay?" Peter asked

"I just need to be alone" she got up from the table, all of them fought the urge to get up and run after her

The April air was warm and the sun was slightly warming her skin, she laid out on her back and looked at the clear sky.

The point was Prim didn't want to be the perfect pureblood wife. She wanted to marry for love, wanted to raise her children not believing in that pureblood nonsense.

"What're your doing out here" Regulus stood above her covering the sun from her face

"I wanted to be alone" She closed her eyes once again

He laid down next to her

"What part of alone did you not understand" she looked to the side

"You can be alone with me" he interlaced his fingers with hers

"You kept the ring?"

"Sirius gave it to me, even if it's connected to yours he gave it to me"

"I was partially expecting you to throw it at my face, you know like the notebook"

"Just like I was partially expecting you to show up for our date, seems like we both disappointed each other"

"Can we ever have a conversation without snapping at me and being so fucking dramatic" He looked up at the clear sky

"No we can't"

"Youre insufferable"

"And you're cold with daddy issues"

"You have mommy and daddy issues it's impossible to have a conversation with you"

"Then why are you still fucking here holding my hand"

There was a thick silence

"Because even though you are a pain in my arse you're also the most selfless person i've ever met and when i'm around you literally nothing else matters"

"I'm afraid you think too highly of me"

"Heard you're staying over my house during summer"

She nodded

"We can share a room" he let out a chuckle

"Regulus this isn't a vacation for me, i'm going so I can become just like your cousins"

"I know Primrose but might as well make the best out of it"

"I think my mum is going to make me marry Nott"

"I won't let that happen ever, besides Nott can be controlled mum wants me to marry fucking Celestina Yaxley"

"Isn't she like 13 right now" she laughed slightly

"Prim I won't let Nott marry you"

"I don't think you have much say over that Regulus"

"Yes I do" he sat up

"Let's make an unbreakable vow"

"Regulus what're you on about"

"We promise we'll never let each other never to marry people were forced too"

Maybe Prim should have thought more about it before she pulled out her hand

He took out his wand and a gold string tied around them

"I Regulus Black promise to do everything in my power to never let Primrose Avery marry out of duty"

"I Primrose Avery promise to do everything in my power to never let Regulus Black marry out of duty"

The gold string disappeared and they sat face to face

They both leaned in slowly and he slowly put his hand on her neck and their lips finally met in a slow sweet kiss

"Are we interrupting something" Sirius was standing in front of them and the rest of the boys

They both broke apart

"Yes" Regulus kissed Prim again

"Regulus" she pulled away and they stared as Prim embarrassingly took his hand off her breast

"Can we talk to Prim alone" Sirius said in a rather mean tone

"I'll see you later Regulus" they both got up

Regulus smiled at his brother and before leaving kissed Prim one last time squeezing her breast making sure everyone saw

"Hey stop using me to make Sirius mad or i'll throw you in this lake" she whispered in his ear

"You're no fun" he kissed her forehead before leaving

"What happened?" Prim asked

"Nothing just disturbed us watching you kiss him" Peter answered and they all broke out in laughter

"You all are twelve" She walked back with them to the castle

"Are you two like dating now?" Sirius partially didn't want to know the answer

"No"

But they both knew that what they had was deeper than that. It was a feeling that neither of them had ever experienced. The way that Prim was the only thing that mattered to Regulus. The way that Regulus was Prim's person.

They had fallen in love without even knowing. Because neither of them put up much a fight, so falling for each other was effortless.
