1 Snow

Alex's P.O.V.

All I see is an inky blackness. I feel as if I'm floating, in an infinite void of nothingness.

Then, I felt the cold, as a shiver ran through my body and shook me to the bone.

I finally open my eyes, and saw a grey sky with pointed pine trees and oaks edging my vision, and little white things falling softly though the air.

I sit up from the cold pillowy surface that I was laying on and look around. I look at it, and a single word comes to mind.

Snow.

I'm laying in snow, the white feathery stuff falling, is snow. This sudden realization, sends shivers down my spin. Isn't this a natural thing? It's falling from the sky, much like rain does. If I didn't know what snow was, then it could also mean that it isn't a normal thing. How would I know?

I raise a hand up into the air, and watch as they drop into my pale small palm. Melting one by one. Deep in thought.

If I didn't know what snow was, then what all do I really know?
What's my name? Alex Black.
How old am I? Twenty three years old.
What is my birthday? 1997

Where am I?

I look around, and suddenly realize, I don't know. I have no idea where I am, how I got here, where here even is.

My eyes widen in shock as a frown becomes apparent on my face.

Where do I live? I don't know.
Who are my parents? I don't know.
What do I look like? I don't know...
Who am I really? I don't know...

My runaway train of thought comes to startling crash as I hear a soft crunch of snow, slowly getting closer from behind me.

I turn to see a tall man, with blonde hair in a pony tail and sunglass. I look up at him, eyes wide and pleading as I feel My head grow fuzzy. My vision darkens.

"Help me." I whimper before I simply pass out into the cold, unforgiving snow.
