Scripting is basically noting down details of your DR (wether on straight on a paper or on a device like a phone, tablet, or a computer). I'll get more into it in the following paragraphs...

No, you do not NEED to script. The reason is simply because the reality you want to shift too already exists, regardless if you script or not. Scripting is just WAY more useful. I just really like scripting things into depth to insure myself that that's how i want it to be. But wether you script or not, you can still 100% shift.
