"Harlem?!!" She asked with a confused look smeared across her face
"Why so far" she continued
"Because thats where i lived" i answered
"So i just leave everything? Thats kinda stupid" she said "and i dont know you that well.. what am i thinking" she whispered rubbing her head
"I can come back for you once you made your mind up. Or you can continue to live in your car" i told her
She rolled her eyes "The circumstances are hard but ill find something" she said.
"My friends in the corner waiting for me, take my number just incase... you aint gotta be living in a car. Its not safe" i said to her, and i would have done that for anyone.
She hesitated for a second
"I want to come.. i do, but i have nothing planned and i have no clothes with me either-"
Bitch shut the fuck up already. I wish i said that instead of
"Calm down and breathe, ill help you with all of that. Now stop wasting time and lets go" i said to her.
She closed her eyes and opened them once more, she nodded and we both started walking.
"So why is it you moved to crenshaw just to drink at bars?" She asked
"Nothing important i just wanted a fresh start"
"Thats hard to believe" she mumbled
I pretended like i didnt hear her and made a turn.
"Wheres your car?" She asked looking around
"You see that dumb gorilla sitting on my car over there" i pointed
She laughed and nodded
"Right there" i continued
"Finally took your goddam time" june finally said
I rolled my eyes
"You got your phone back?" He asked
I nodded
"Hi" nicki quietly said
"Who's this?" June asked raising his eyebrow and giving me a look i didnt like
"Nicki. The bartender that had my phome" i smiled at him, nudging him to say hi back
"You aint tell me she was a girl"
"Woman" nicki clarified clearing her throat
"Yes woman now lets go" i said un-locking the car and sitting inside, nicki followed right after and sat in the passengers seat.
