Letters to Nate.

Why won't Nate answer?

I placed the phone against my ear again, calling Nate. I've called him twice already. But after two rings it went to voicemail.

Like he hit decline. But why would he be ignoring me?

"Hey it's Nate, Im sorry I couldn't get to the phone right now. Leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Bye."

I sigh and wait for the beep.

"Hey Nate, It's Elizabeth. How's Jessica? I got into a-" I got interrupted by a voice.

"Hello? This is Natalie, Nate can't come to the phone right now." The voice said.

Natalie. I remember her. She was in our friend group. I never really liked her much. Always talking about what she'd do to Nate if Nate was hers.

"Hey Natalie, It's Elizabeth. Remember me?" I say into the phone.

"Ah Nate's Ex girlfriend." Natalie snickered.

Nate's Ex girlfriend?

"Stop obsessing over Nate it's over Elizabeth. I have to go. Me and Nate are going out tonight or maybe staying in." You could hear the smirk on Natalie's face.

I pressed End call and sunk to the floor, crying.

How could Nate do this to me? My Nate.

Annie walked in and saw me crying. "Lizzy, what's wrong?" Annie said sitting beside me.

"Oh nothing Annie, Pack your bags. It's time to go see dad."
