Shawn's POV

(YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING EH?!)

"No Shawn we can't imagine if he's wake up and we are not here?" She said with a little panic tone
"He's never wake up before the bell ring" i said and she looked at me not satisfied
"Do you trust me ?" I said and she stared me
"Well not that much but-" she said but i interrupted her
"Grab your things we're going" i said standing up grabbing my bag
"I'm going anywhere with you Mendes" she said shaking her head and i rolled my eyes

"Martina please" i said making my best puppy eyes and she rolled her eyes trying to hide the smile on her lips
"Okay okay just let me pack my things" she said and I grinned
"Okay let's go" she said and i grabbed her tiny hand in mine and walked out of the detention room to my car
"Where are we going?" She asked and i smirked
"You will see baby, just be patient" i said opening the passenger door for her and she rolled her eyes
"How much time i have to say that Don't call me baby" she said looked up at me with flushing cheeks of anger
"Until you're mine babe, now get in" i said and she looked at me with widen eyes

"That's not gonna happens Mendes" she said and i rolled my eyes playfully
"Yeah yeah whatever, get in" i said and she sit down on her seat and i jogged to the driver seat
"I don't like the surprise Shawn" she said
"And i don't like tomatoes" i said shrugging and she groaned
"Shaaawwn!" She whined
"Maartinaaa!" I whined back and she chuckled
"Can you tell me where we going?" She said looking at me with a amused grin
I looked at her for a sec and i get lost in her beautiful brown eyes
She giggled before turning her head to the window

"Pay attention on the road not me, Mendes" she said and i smiled softly
"We're here" i said pulling the car into the driveway of my favorite ice cream shop
"A ice cream shop?" She said a little bit confused
"Yeah now come on" i said and she unbuttoned her seatbelt
We walked out of my car and i take her hand in mine and walked inside the ice cream shop
"What do you want ?" I said looking down at her
"A chocolate one!" She said excited and i chuckled
"Okay go find a seat for us and i grab the ice cream" i said and she nodded unlocking our fingers

Martina's POV

I sit down on the chair of the table beside the window of the shop
"There you go" Shawn said putting down my chocolate ice cream
"Thanks" i said grabbing the little spoon full of chocolate and put her in my mouth and he smiled
"You know, you're really impressed me at the lunch break" he said smirking and i rolled my eyes
"I never see someone stand up to Ashley like that, and that was pretty hot" he said mumbling the last part
"I don't like her, who the hell she think she is for tell me with who i can talk?" I said and he frowned a little bit

"But why did you two started to fight ?" He asked curiously
"Since yesterday, every time she saw me, the only words who left her stupid mouth is « Stay away from Shawn » like it's the only words that she learned" i said and he let out a quick chuckle
"But who she is for you?" I can't help but ask him
He looked at me for a brief moment before starting to talk
"She's my ex « girlfriend » if you want" he said making quotation marks at the word girlfriend
"What do you mean by that?" I asked and he sighed
"At the beginning she was like the others girls, just a one night stand then we saw each other very frequently and we became friends with benefits" he said and my mouth formed a sharped "o"

"But i stopped this two months ago, and while this period when we were friends with benefits, she's always said that we were boyfriend and girlfriend and the whole school believes that, and well every time i was getting closer with another girl than her, she was going crazy, she was going to find the girl and threaten her, like that she was sure that i was seeing no other girl apart her" he said and i was speechless
"And why did she came at me then? I try to don't talk with you as much as i can but that's pretty complicate because we have practically the same class but anyway, why she came at then? " I said and he face went blank
"I don't know" he said scratching the back of his neck
"It's not like i like you and you like me" i said playing with the napkin of the table and he stayed silent

Shawn's POV

I don't know why but i feel a short pain in my heart
Normally i shouldn't feel this pain because she's right we don't like each other then why i feel this pain?
"Shawn?" Her voice pulled me out of my thoughts
"Are you okay?" She asked her brown eyes scanning my face
"Yeah yeah i'm fine, totally fine" i said mumbling the end of my sentence
"Okay" she said and a question is going through my head
"What's going on between Noah and you?"
