CHAPTER 13: The name's Kosei Hikaru

Y/n's pov

As we were waiting for them, I had to use the rest room. I left the gym, not even thinking of leaving a trail, I tried to find the bathroom. It didn't take me too long, because I asked a friendly college couple and the girl lead me to the bathroom. 

After I was done, I forgot the way to the gym. The halls were quiet because of everybody being in class. The students who weren't, all ignored me when I asked for their help.

I walked forward and didn't look where I was going. I Bumped into someone and I fell backwards.

"Oh shit, I'm so sorry! Are you alright?" I heard a deep male voice and looked up to see a hand stretched forward and concern in this stranger's eyes.

"I'm alright, and it's okay. I'm sorry, I didn't look where I was going." I reached forward and took the stranger's hand. His hand was quite bigger than mine.

"Nah, it's all good sugar." 

My cheeks heat up a little and I felt the blood rushing to my face. WHAT IS IT WITH GUYS AND THE NICK NAMES?

"Um... sir? Do you maybe know where gym one is?"

The student looked at me surprised for a moment and then smirked. "Sir huh. Do I look that old to you?" 

"Oh uh no I just uh-"

He started laughing and helped me up. "I'm just messing with you sugar." He grinned and he held my hand a little longer. "The name's Kosei Hikaru. Nice to meet you...?"

"L/n, Y/n. Nice to meet you too Kosei."

I remembered the name of the college student who was supposed to bring two friends along. His name was Kosei as well. Coincidence or was this him?

"Okay, well I'm heading over to that exact location. Want to walk together? Seeing as you don't know the way."

"Yeah, please."

"Alright."

He started walking and only when he straightened up, I saw that he was taller than Daichi. 

I followed him inside the gym and saw Oikawa and Iwaizumi already befriending two other students.

"Oikawa!" Kosei yelled out and Oikawa turned his attention to him. 

"Kosei, thank you for agreeing. It's good to see you again."

"Same here."

I could see Iwaizumi didn't like Kosei one bit and I didn't blame him. I saw how close Oikawa and Kosei were, and it looked like something that it wasn't.

"I see you've already met my little one." Oikawa gestured to me, and instead of going to Oikawa, I did what I always did when I meet new people who were quite tall and started seeming intimidating. 

I walked over to Iwaizumi and clinged onto his arm, hiding half behind him.

"Yeah, and she's a shy one right?" He asked as he saw me half hiding.

"When she meets new people, yes. Although, on the court she's a beast. She's literally a combination of one hundred percent of Iwaizumi and I both. But one thing that came naturally was her strategizing. That she didn't inherit that from either of us."

Kosei looked surprised again, but then grinned again. "Well, if she's really as good as you said she is, I want to witness it first hand."

"Alright, let's begin the game."

The first set was taken by the college students and I analyzed every move they had made.

"You told us she's a beast. She barely did anything in this set." One of Kosei's friends, Satoshi, said and completely forgot about the part where Oikawa told them what a great strategist I am.
