2022 in Retrospect

Well, here we are again! Another year another progress report where I look back on my cringeworthy graphics for you all to see. I dug through the archives and found the very first covers I ever made and GOOD LORD! I've come so far and am still continuing to improve. This year has been extremely hard but also so monumental. I've moved, started drafting my original novel, started up exercising after years of chronic pain, and am beginning to make a new community for myself. I've grown so much on Wattpad and off and it's time to showcase it. So buckle up for a recap of my graphics career on Wattpad!

2017 - 2018 (Canva)

These were made using a mix of Canva and Paint 3D which I would not recommend for anything other than VERY SIMPLE aesthetic covers. This was my very first dip in the graphics waters and this lasted from maybe late 2017-18?

2019 - 2020 (Pixelmator Pro)

As I progressed I outgrew my former software and upgraded. It was hard for me to rationalize paying for a photoshop subscription when I was not making money on my graphics and I was still so new to making them. I think I started in late 2017???? But I could be entirely wrong.

The next step up was buying Pixelmator Pro for Mac which really slingshotted my work into relative adequacy lol. Pixelmator is $40 USD one time so if you're looking for a more affordable option I highly recommend it. It is comparable to photoshop tbh but much simpler and less versatile.
