Apex Legends X OC + Announcement

A lone octane hides behind a large rock in King's Canyon. His breathing quick and heavy. He holds his R-301 to his chest as he listens closely to the sounds around him.

Running water, trees rustling, flyers flapping their wings.

"Sorry, Silva." 

BAM

"That's the whole squad."

A lioness with light brown fur stands proud on top of the same rock. Her black tipped tail swishing back and forth. She holds a P2020 in her clawed paw, and wears nothing but a backpack and a jetpack on her lower back.

Her teammates, Bangalore and Gibraltar come out of hiding as well.

"You're pretty good with that 20. Still, give this a try." Bangalore say, throwing the lion a R-301.

"Thanks."

Gibraltar slaps the lioness on the back. "Lizz, for a big cat you make a good legend." He says.

Lizz lowers her ears and smiles sweetly. "I'm just trying my best."

"Hope you can keep it up. We've got four squads left. Now, let's move." 

Lizz joined the Apex games not to long ago. Though, it wasn't intentional. She was enlisted in the games without her knowledge somehow. You see, Lizz isn't from this dimension. She's from one completely different one from the Apex world. In her dimension, Apex is just a video game. Someone brought her from her dimension to theirs. She's not exactly sure who yet, but she intends to find out.

Until then, Lizz participates in the games.

"Explain where you're from again, Lizz." Octane says from the other side of the respawn chamber. 

"Again?" Lizz tilts her head to the side.

"Yeah!" Octane yells.

"Ok, fine. I'm from an alternate dimension living on a planet called Earth. Our technology is nowhere near your own, and you guys are all just a video game there." Lizz explains. "That make ya happy, Silva?"

"I doubt he gets it." Rampart says. Everyone in the respawn chamber laughs. Except Mirage of course. 

After the games, everyone is dropped off the dropship and back to Solace City. Lizz scans the landing area for a certain person. 

"Hey, have any of you seen Crypto?" Lizz looks back to a group of Legends.

"He told me to tell ya to meet him at the Paradise Lounge afterhours." Lifeline says.

"Okay. Thanks."

Lizz wasn't always this way. she used to be human. Until she arrived here. Something happened that turned her into this lion creature. Though, she's not sure what.

That night Lizz flies through the air atop the clouds. Yes. Flies.

Lizz is half dragon. She has a transformation that allows her to grow two small white horns on her head, brownish red spikes down her back, turns her eyes from brown to red and orange and turns her pupils into slits, and grows a pair of black and grey wings. 

If it sounds insane, that's because it is. It's something dangerous and something she has to keep under control. Here in the Apex Games though, she doesn't have to do that. She's respected and has many fans who adore her and her transformation. There are always screenshots and pictures of Lizz using her transformation and fiery breath in battle. It's something she can be proud of. And she is.

Lizz lands on top of the Paradise Lounge. She uses the large vents as a way in. She's careful not to make noise. Another one of her special skills.
