𝔻𝕖𝕟𝕜𝕚- 𝕊𝕥𝕦𝕔𝕜 𝕚𝕟 𝕒 𝕔𝕠𝕣𝕟 𝕞𝕒𝕫𝕖

(A/N: this is my first ever one shot so yay! Heads up this is unedited work!)

After initially getting lost, the two of you didn't really panic, but now that it had been three hours, the both of you were starting to. You knew it would be a dumb idea to follow the pikachu haired boy into the corn maze, but you did anyways and now here you are, stuck in a corn field in the middle of literal no where. You cursed yourself under your breath as you realized the sun was setting and a light breeze was beginning to stir. Noticing your obvious discomfort caused by the wind, Denki grabbed the hem of his hoodie and pulled it over his head. You looked at your loud friend with curious eyes but your question was answered when he handed you his hoodie with a smile and said "here, you look cold".

You retorted with "but won't you be cold?" to which he simply  chuckled and answered "ill be fine sunshine, don't worry". the nickname made you smile as you put on the hoodie and picked back up on your previous conversation that was about whether or not Deku was All Might's secret love child.

As the two of you continued to wander, aimless chatter filling the quiet void along with the gentle hum of the wind, you realized the sun has now officially passed below the horizon, leaving the two of you walking only with the guidance of the bright stars. You never realized it, but the whole time while you two were talking, Denki was not watching where he was walking, but he was instead watching you and admiring your beauty. Denki has had a crush on you for awhile, and on top of that has asked you out multiple times, but you always took it as play-flirting due to his naturally flirtatious personality. Denki was now cold and fatigued, but he was trying to hide it to the best of his ability. You, having known him for a total of two years, saw through this facade. Piping up, you asked "hey, do you want to stop really quick and sit down? we've literally been walking for hours."

 "Sure, do you wanna sit over there?" he said pointing to a conveniently placed bench that is only there for plot advancement. You gave him a quick nod as the two of you meandered over to the bench. you sat down next to him, your legs brushing together ever so often as you chatted, causing a light blush to spread across your dimly lit face. Even in the light of the moon, Denki still looked as cute as ever. Like him, you've also had a crush on him for longer than you could even know, but due to his naturally flirtatious personality as well as his looks, you've never had the courage to ask him out.

"Y/N?" Denki asked as he snapped his fingers in front of you're face a few times.

"I mean, i know i'm irresistible but i didn't know i were that irresistible" he joked as you suddenly realized you had been staring at his face for almost a minute straight.

"s-sorry!" you stuttered out as you quickly averted your gaze to your feet.

"Hey it's fine! i was just joking ya' know" he said with a wide smile gracing his lips.

the two of you continued to talk, and decided to  just camp out in the corn maze because it was know ultimately too dark to clearly see. You let out a loud yawn and rested your head on his shoulder. Denki, being infatuated by your heat, closed the gap between your bodies and snaked his arm around your waist.

After several more yawns throughout your conversation, from both you and Denki, the two of you decided to get some sleep. Denki originally offered to sleep on the ground and to let you sleep on the bench, but then you reminded him that it would probably be better to sleep together due to how cold it was.

"Y-yeah! i guess" he awkwardly mumbled.

he stood up and you quickly laid down on the bench and patted the spot next to you. he tentatively laid down on the bench facing you, his face going red after he realized the close proximity of you and him. you let out another large yawn and in your sleep-drunk state, snuggled into his chest. To much of your surprise, Denki's arm wrapped protectively around you. after a few minutes of adjusting, you both were comfortable, well, as comfortable as you can be for laying on a bench. 

after a few minutes once you almost fell asleep, you heard a wispier.

"you know i really do love you sunshine...I really do"

you weren't a hundred percent sure if you actually heard that correctly, but you quietly mumbled back "i love you too"

lets just say, you two had a lot to talk about in the morning.
