Jonny stood up as the lecture ended, tossing their bag over their back and walking out of the hall, and to their car, driving home, and then to work, eating some chocolate that may or may not have been shoplifted, as well as some salt water. they put on some palaye royale as they pulled into the lot of the retail store, where they worked customer service. fortunately, the store allowed Jonny to sit while working, as they didn't want bad rep from making a disabled person stand for 4 hours. that didn't stop the karens from making a fuss about it, of course. they walked in, the uniform covering up the doodles, and sat at the customer service desk, as a karen walked up.
"why are you sitting down? you're here to work, not lay around" she demanded. "ma'am, i am disabled, and i am sitting down due to that so i can still help you" "why would they hire a useless cripple like you if you can't even do your job properly?!" "is there anything i can help you with? i can do my job properly, as long as i am allowed to sit down while doing it" "stop being so rude! i am a paying customer, and i would like to talk to your manager!"
