The DA was going really well. Everytime Harry finished the meeting, they would use the coins to call the other three to the RoR. When they were there, they only did Defense and talking, Harry started being more forward about his nightmares, and discovered that they weren't exactly nightmares. He told them about the visions and they suggested a Dreamless Sleep Potion, which they would make illegally, but Harry squashed that plan because they had had mishaps with Potions before (reference to second year). That day they spent in explaining Muggle contraptions to Draco, Blaise, Ron and Pansy. Harry thought that he would get them pens for Christmas. After they left he wrote to Remus asking him to buy a stationary set for Draco and some other Muggle contraptions for the rest. Ron owled Mrs. Weasley to make three sweaters (he didn't say who) and Hermione owled her parents to send Muggle candy. Harry could have owled Dudley about it, but getting an owl in Privet Drive would be catastrophic for Dudley.
Harry, Ron and Hermione were now helping Ron get ready for big date, since today was his and Blaise's one year anniversary. When Ron left for his date, Harry had promised to do Ron's homework, because Ron could be out all night and there was an essay due for Snape tomorrow. Since Christmas was coming soon, Harry and Ron were planning on staying back, while Hermione was going skiing. Ron, Blaise, Draco and Pansy were amused by the idea of skiing and laughed a lot when Hermione explained what it was.
The next night, Harry had a vision of Mr. Weasley getting bitten, almost killed. He got up and woke up Ron, asked him to call McGonagall. They called all the Weasley children and then they were taken to Dumbledore's office. They were made to pack everything, after he was done he reached for his Map, found Draco's name very close to Dumbledore's office. He ran there with Ron. He told him everything. "Harry? Everything is going to be okay, love? Mr. Weasley's alright, okay?" Again, Harry blushed at the use of love and Draco and Ron chuckled. "Are you ever gonna get over that blush?" Draco kissed Harry sweetly, pulled away, gave Ron a soothing hug and promised to tell Blaise. They left and reached Grimmauld Place. Harry hugged Sirius and Remus, and then they sat in silence while drinking butterbeer. He pulled out his Map and saw Sirius' face completely change. "My baby!" He screamed earning a laugh from everyone. He snatched the Map from Harry's hand and as as who he was looking at and smirked. Harry smirked back. He whispered in Remus' ear making him smirk. Then he looked back at Harry with a Sirius face, "Harry, where the fuck did you get this?" He knew if Mrs. Weasley heard him right now, she would hex him into oblivion. "Uhhhh, that would be our doing," said Fred. Sirius put on his Mrs. Weasley face and said "where did you get this?" "Nicked it from Filch's office, first year," Sirius got up from his seat and went to them and hugged them and said "never have I seen better pranksters, if you exclude the Marauders," the twins took offence to this and said "bullshit" Sirius openly said "James and I put on suits of armour and rode our brooms trying to recreate an old Muggle duel, flew into eachother and screamed 'JOUST', we got detention, but it was worth it," Fred and George gave up, none of their pranks were this crazy.
Sirius smirked in triumph and kissed Remus, totally forgetting that only Ron, Harry and Hermione knew. Fred, George and ginny were stunned and said "holy shit," at the same time and then they realised what happened and Remus looked at them and said "never seen two men snogging before?" with that intimidating look of his and then ginny said "well, no. But how long have you two been snogging?" Harry knew that she was now invested in their love life. "Fifth year," Ginny screamed and said "okay. but, fIFTH YEAR AND YOU TELL US NOW?!" Sirius and Remus laughed and said "well, we weren't planning to tell you, but Sirius gets all snoggy when he wins and Harry, Ron and Hermione already knew," she smacked Ron in the arm so hard that it echoed in the room. "Gee thanks, Remus." Remus smiled and said "anytime, bitch" Harry laughed at that and faced Ron and said "have we gotten any owls from them?" Ron looked him in the eye and said "that's 'Miones thing," "touché" she shook her head and then Remus asked "and who are we expecting owls from?" Harry, Ron and Hermione looked at Remus and Sirius with glared and said "we'll explain later," just then an owl flew in which Hermione looked at and said "that's for Ron" since it was Blaise's owl. Ron got off his seat at once and went to the owl and took his letter, he shoved it in his pocket and said "Hermione, you'll help me later right?" she nodded because she knew he was horrible at translating. Everyone was really confused but shrugged it off, they sat in silence until Mrs. Weasley came in and gave them the updates. Harry, Ron and Hermione owled the other three and said that they would exchange gifts only in person and not to send some there. They fell asleep that night, feeling happy and stressed.
