"Welcome to Zevil Island! The fourth phase will consist of hunts for tags within the 24 remaining participants! In the order of who finished the Tower, you will all draw a random tag from this box! The number on the tag is the person you will hunt! Your target's tag is worth three points, your own is worth three points, and other tags are worth 1 point. You must have 6 points in total in order to advance to the last phase!"
One by one, all the contestants went to the box and pulled out a tag. Allia decided to stay with Illumi, as she felt that Killua would enjoy being with his friends more.
"Who'd you get?" She heard Killua ask, and Gon answered that it was a secret. Then a pause, then they all started to laugh. "Oh man, your luck sucks! Number 44?" 44 was Hisoka. That was unfortunate for the child.
"Did you hear that? It would be a sight to see." Allia said to Illumi. He nodded with a click, his pins looking uncomfortably grotesque against his purple skin.
"Alright, well, lets meet in the middle of the forest, after we've all gotten our tags." Allia suggested to Hisoka and Illumi. They both agreed, and the joker left the boat first. Allia left last, after Illumi stepped off the boat with a good luck.
The forest was blissfully cool, and although every Zoldyck member was trained for any weather, Allia found herself grateful for the lack of heat. Like a snake, her grandfather, Zeno, had always teased. Immediately after entering the forest, Allia nimbly climbed up the tallest tree, opting to wait for her target.
After a while, a rather dull looking man holding a tag that said 45 clumsely walked into the forest. 45 was her number, and bored with her perch, she leapt down in front of the man. "I see that I'm your target." Allia said, smiling. "I would like to propose a deal."
The dull looking man seemed more than happy to comply. "Give me your tag, and I will give you mine. Simple." Allia stated.
The man seemed hesitant at the attractive deal. "Why would you do that? Then you'd need to get two other tags."
Allia chuckled. "That is easy enough. Come now, won't you agree? We can spare each other a waste of energy."
There was a moment of silence as the man considered the agreement. "Fine-" And in less than a second, his head flew as his headless body fell to its knees.
"Apologies, I changed my mind."
--
"Hello Hisoka, are you done?" Allia entered the heart of the forest, where Hisoka sat comfortably on a log.
"Oh Allia~ have you come to keep me company~?"
"No, I came because we agreed to meet here when we're done. Where's Illumi?" Allia answered bluntly.
"I'm here." Allia turned to greet him, but frowned when a haggard and wounded man lunged at her from in front of Illumi, who stood leaning against a tree. She dodged him, leading the man towards Hisoka, who killed him with a simple flick of his wrist.
"Did he ask you to let him die fighting?" Allia sneered, nudging the fallen man, Goz, with her toe. "You're such a kind assassin~" Hisoka added, blinking bashfully. Allia chuckled as Illumi, irritated, threw a pin at each of them, which they both flicked away easily.
The purple man started to pull out the pins in his body one by one, his muscles and features contorting to revert back to a beautiful face and body. His skin turned pale and white, his eyes blank and obsidian. Then his hair turned back to silky black. "I find their last wishes amusing to indulge." Illumi grumbled.
All three of them were by then aware of the boy hiding in the trees. Allia smiled. Young and stupid, yet brave.
Illumi beckoned toward her while digging a hole in the ground. "Is it time to sleep already?" Allia chuckled. "Quite so. I see you already have three tags anyway. Not sleeping is pointless." Illumi leaped into the large hole he had created, curling up and immediately closing his eyes. Allia did the same, shoving him over and comfortably settling down into the cool earth. "I'll see you later, Hisoka." She said, as the joker waved goodnight.
-
After a while, Allia woke up to the stare of Illumi's horrid disguise. He was peering down from the surface, waiting for her.
"By god, that is the ugliest face I have ever seen-" Illumi threw a ball of dirt at Allia, emitting a series of passionate clicks that probably consisted of a multitude of insults.
When everyone had gathered back at the boat, she was pleased to see that Killua and his friends had succeeded.
