"I'm interested in fighting number 44, number 301, and number 99. I don't want to fight number 405 and his two other friends. I want to be a hunter because I had nothing else to do, and because the license is useful." Allia said in a monotone voice. She had sat down in front of the chairman answering his questions after the second to last exam had ended, and her answer was immediate.
The chairman who sat in front of her shifted in his seat, a trail of sweat going down his head. "Thank you very much, you may go."
But instead of leaving, the white and black haired girl leaned forward over the desk slowly.
"Especially number 99 and number 301. I am very much interesting in fighting them." She let out a huge amount of bloodlust, almost choking the old man.
And then she left.
-
"Here is the chart for this phase." Netero held up a board, making all the exam participants lean forward to see.
One could tell without having to look closely that two people were extremely shocked.
A purple, tall man with pins sticking out took a step back, and a white haired boy with blue eyes paled considerably and snapped his head towards his sister who had her face turning forward impassively.
The board showed that first Killua would fight Allia, then the winner of that match would fight Illumi.
Everyone in the room could feel the tension between the three grow, and even Hisoka looked a bit uncomfortable. Gon looked faint.
After Gon's match with Hanzo, which ended in Gon winning but with many severe injuries and which Allia thought was the most boring match she had ever seen, it was time for her to fight her little brother.
When both of them met in the middle of the circle, Killua started to tremble. He loved Allia, and he knew Allia loved him. He also knew Allia was a cold monster, and that if he didn't entertain her, his fate was certain.
"Whats wrong, Kil?" The woman in front of him tilted her head to the side, observing him.
"START!" The bean man cried.
Immediately, Killua ran at his sister. She raised an eyebrow at his choice, and held the foot coming for her head easily. She then threw his body down, making him skid across the floor.
He got right back up, and this time, he circled her using his Shadow Step. He knew it was a futile move, but he wanted to go down with a fight. Or at least a struggle.... Or a scuffle.
After a while, he surged forward and, making his hand form a claw, reached for her heart. In order to go all put, he needed to fight with the intent to kill. However, instead of getting even a scratch, all Allia did was grab his hand, use Hatsu, and he was forced to kneel before her.
His eyes turned dull with fear, and his hair cast a shadow over his face.
"Kil. Have you not learned nen yet? Disappointing. Maybe you should go back home. I mean, I heard you stabbed Mom and Milluki. That's great and all, but-" She was cut off by Killua, who, in a last effort, leapt up and kicked her in the chin.
The older girl staggered back in surprise, but straightened up immediately- and cut her wrists.
"What?" Killua mumbled. Illumi, who was watching the match with bored eyes, suddenly audibly clicked his mouth, making Hisoka, who was next to him, turn towards him with an amused gaze.
From the white haired boy's view, it seemed like the blood from his sister's wrist was slowly rising around her. He blinked, and rubbed his eyes, and then yelped when he saw the tip of a red blade right in front of his pupils.
"Allia." Killua froze. That voice... It was Illumi. He had his disguise off, and he was staring at his sister, his eyes ordering for her to stop.
"How surprising, brother. I would've thought you would be the first one to tell me to continue."
Killua was filled with terror and fear, feeling the aura's of both his older sister and brother. He felt like he was being suffocated, and he almost fell back on his knees.
"I-I surrender." He quietly and finally said, and slowly walked out of the circle. "Ah. Disappointing. " Allia grumbled. Killua's steps faltered.
"Chairman, I have no more desire to fight with Illumi. I can get my license now anyway." Although a little irritated, said man nodded, and brushed her off.
After she walked out of the room, she saw her little bro's friends trying to convince him to stay.
"Kil. The fight wasn't too bad, you almost cut me. Now let's go home together. I'm sure mother would be...overjoyed to see you."
She slung an arm around him, and lead the now compliant and filled with an odd sense of pride boy towards the exit.
"Allia." Illumi's voice called out to her from behind. She felt Killua tense.
"Yeah?" She turned slightly towards him.
"I'll meet you at home."
"Cool."
