Frankies POV I walked into school it's Valentine's Day ugh I went to my locker by the way I'm 9 and in 4th grade I went to my locker when my friend freddy walked up he's a year older than me and in fifth grade F: hey frankie Fr: hey Fred F: what are you doing for Valentine's Day Fr: nothing just in it for the candy He chuckled Fr: what about you F: there's a girl who likes me and I like her back Jealousy over took my body i ignored it wait why am I jealous he's just my friend Fr: ooh who F: Penelope Fr: Penelope Prichard? I said in disbelief he nodded his head Fr: she's awful don't go near here F: she's nice when you get to know her She walked up with the fakest smile I have ever seen P: hey i have some homework for you to do F: (happy tone) ok She gave it to him and he walked away P: oh what's that wrapped around my finger oh it's your friend She walked away smirking I growled and went to class AFTER CLASS I looked around for Freddy he was no where to be seen I went up to Penelope Fr: wheres freddy P: oh he's in the palm of my hand Fr: (growls) P: he's doing my homework in a lib-bab-ray Fr: library? P: yeah that Fr: wait this school has a library P: (shrugs) yeah I ran around looking for it when I found it he was sitting down doing homework on a table Fr: NO I immediately ran and pushed it away F: umm- Fr: don't do Penelope's homework F: that was my homework Fr: oh good F: this is Penelope homework He said as he held it up my eyes widen Fr: NO I slapped it out of his hand F: ok Fr: no F: why are you acting so weird Fr: cause she's using you F: no she's not Fr: but- F: I have to go see ya He kissed my cheek and left I groaned LATER I saw her give him some money oh hell no she walked up to me smirking P: is it Halloween cause you friend just got tricked and I got a treat She waved the money in my face and walked away oh god LATER Freddy walked up to me happy Fr: freddy I have to tell you that- F: great news I think I might finally get a kiss at the end of Valentine's Day I felt like my heart was being shattered I didn't show it Fr: y-you mean- F: yeah I gave Penelope a note to meet me at the playground Fr: (disappointed) oh F: something wrong Fr: I'm fine just...not a lot of candy today He shrugged and left Penelope walked up P: be ready to take care of Freddy when I don't show up after school Fr: you- P: have fun She walked away smirking I groaned AFTER SCHOOL I waited at the playground he came up confused F: uh frankie Fr: h-hey freddy F: wheres Penelope Fr: she's not coming F: why did she not get my note Fr: she did it's just...she's been using you for money and her homework F: but- Fr: she doesn't like you but it's ok cause who cares F: I guess i care Fr: well stop caring cause it's not a big deal it's stupid so just stop caring stop F: I guess I'm dumb it was stupid to think I could get a kiss on Valentine's Day I groaned I grabbed his collar and smashed my lips on his he was shocked but kissed back after a few seconds I pushed him away Fr: You ever tell anyone about this I will end you I walked away but remembered my jacket I walked back but he was there smirking I quickly hid F: it worked Penelope came out huh P: gotta hand it to you didn't think you'd do it He turned to her F: well it all worked out I got a kiss from my crush on Valentine's Day and you got 50 bucks thanks for pretending to flirt with me He handed her some money my mouth dropped he planned this I left pissed when I went home everyone was in the living room they smiled T: how was valentines- Fr: shut it L: hey what's wrong I told them Fr: I can't believe it he tricked me he lied to me he paid someone to manipulate me he- M: is your soulmate Fr: what Mi: volunteers,out tricked you,older, gets girls attention, likes everything you like L: basically, nice, smart, mature, cute, everything in common R; you guys were meant for each other T: I just can't believe someone tricked you Fr: no no no I uhh knew the whole time L: it finally happened M: he's a god Fr: shut up I crossed my arms THE NEXT DAY He came up to me I wanted to roll my eyes F: hey Frankie Fr; hey F: wanna go out later Fr: no thanks It's just a kiss F: ok I think I'll actually ask out Mindy The thought of another girl made my blood boil Fr: I'll go I left quickly he held back a smirk dammit LATER We were at McDonald's I threw some of my fries at him mad F: frank what's wrong Fr: you paid Penelope His eyes widen Fr: saw your conversation after a I left I can't believe you F: Frankie im sorry Fr: hm F: I had to Fr: why F: your probably the most stubborn person I have ever met pity was the only way to get to you you'd never let me in Fr: cause we're just friends I'm only here cause your paying F: no your here cause you want what you can't have Fr: huh F: Frankie I tricked you into kissing me I and tricked you into a date, I know you better than anyone and in a few years I'm gonna trick you into sex Fr: (blushing) shut up I said mad he chuckled F: princess your blushing Fr: hmm F: come on eat I rolled my eyes and took a bite of my burger THE NEXT DAY He walked up to me he wrapped his arms around from behind me Fr: hey Fred F: hey babe Fr: were not dating F: yet Fr: 🙄 F: ok I got a new plan Fr: no more plans F: yeah ok Fr: your annoying you know that F: uh huh Fr: no F: ok I won't bother you- Fr: just leave me-huh F: I won't bother you anymore He left I was a little confused and shocked THE NEXT DAY I can't get Freddy out of my head I was pacing back and forth in my room why did I tell him to leave me alone stupid Frankie I'm not gonna admit I like him I'm not weak but what do I do ugh I grabbed my bag and walked to school ok any plans hmm nothing I walked in freddy was at his locker I went up to him Fr: hey Fred F: hey L: Frankie I got a plan Fr: one minute I walked away with Louie and took out my phone L: if he's always tricking you maybe this is a trick he knows you'll miss him and beg for him back Fr: that.....might actually be right L: see Fr: for once you did something smart L: hey Fr: thanks L: no problem I smiled and he popped out I went over to Freddy he smiled Fr: so your new plan is to leave me to get you to come back- F: how did you- Fr: Louie told me F: so you didn't find out Fr: I did F: not by yourself and it was about to work but you keep finding out Fr: well duh He shrugged Fr: ok you like me I don't like you it's simple F: admit it you like me Fr: no F: fine I'll go Fr: wait (groans) i....like you He smiled and kissed me F: thank you that's all I needed to hear Fr: hmm He kissed my cheek I giggled and blushed and he walked me to class
