Chapter 12: No One Can Know ⚠️

Elizabeth's POV
After school I was talking to Ashley, Deku, Iida, and Uraraka. I was also waiting for Kageyama because he said he was going to pick me up again.

I was talking with them and then out of no where Kageyama yelled "Mary hurry up will you?! You know how quick I lose my patience!"

It scared me.

"I'm coming Kags!" I yelled back.

"Sorry about that guys." I said.

"No it's okay go ahead. We'll see you on Monday." Iida said.

"Yeah I'll see you on-" I was interrupted by Kageyama yelling again.

"Mary hurry up!"

"Sorry Kags I'm coming!" I yelled back.

I turned to everyone and said "Bye."

They waved back and I walked to Kageyama. We got in the car and again there was an awkward silence I had a feeling that he was mad again because I was with Iida and Deku. So maybe he was mad that I was with some other guys.

I'm scared, is he going to hit me again? Is he going to let me explain this time?

The next thing I knew we were at his house. I was trying to brace myself for what was going to happen. We went inside and when he shut the door he immediately started yelling at me again.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?! WHY WERE YOU WITH THOSE GUYS?! WHEN I SAID THAT I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU WITH TODOROKI DOES NOT MEAN I'M OKAY WITH YOU TALKING TO OTHER GUYS!!"

"I-I-I'm sorry Kags, they're just my fr-" he interrupted me by slapping me again.

"Kags please let me expl-" I was interrupted again but this time he punched me on my arm.

"Why are you hitting me I'm just trying to-" he hit me on my arm again.

"I thought I told you I don't want to hear your 'he's just a friend' bullshit!! Now I don't want to see you talking to them ever again and don't you dare tell anyone about this! Understood?" He said but when he said "understood" he was really close to me.

I didn't say anything because I was still shocked but that was a big mistake because he punched me again but this time it was in my stomach.

"Don't ever disobey me ever again!! Understood?!" He yelled.

I nodded but he punched me again on my leg causing me to fall onto one of my knees. He grabbed my chin to look up at him and he said

"Use your words."

"I understand." I said quietly but loud enough for him to hear me.

"Good girl." He said.

Then he let me go and I was still in a little pain but before I started crying I went to the restroom. When I was in the restroom I broke down.

Why does he keep hitting me? I'm just trying to explain but he won't let me. Why is this happening? I want to call Ashley but I don't want her to get hurt. I just need to do everything he says and hide my bruises so no one will find out.

I looked at myself in the mirror and my face was red from when he slapped me. My arm and shoulder had a bruise. My thigh had a bruise too but it was high enough for me to hide it with my skirt. My uniform comes with a jacket so I can cover my bruises on my shoulder and arm. I unbuttoned by shirt to look at my stomach and there was a bruise there too but that was easy to cover up. I also thought if anyone asks about the bruises I can just say they're from training. I gathered myself, wiped my tears away and went out in the living room with Kageyama. I went and sat next to him but then he aggressively pulled me to lay on his chest. I thought it would be better to stick up for myself so I snapped at him.
