"Ohmygosh! Lillian that's so cute!" Aspen admired her best friend, Lillian, in her adorable Dalmatian dog costume as she added the last touch of makeup to her face, now displaying a dog nose shaped mark on the tip of her nose.
Lillian's Halloween costume sported a headband with black and white polka dotted ears and matching outfit.
"Thanks! Can you guess who I'm going with?" Lillian giggled, attempting to imagine her boyfriend, Cedric, in firefighter overalls and a plastic, red hat.
"Hm..." Aspen joined the laughter, tapping her chin as if to think dramatically. "I have no idea!"
"What are you going to be?" Lillian inquired, looking at the outfit laid out on her bed.
"Well I wasn't really-"
"You don't have a costume?!"
Aspen looked down at her feet. Halloween hadn't really been a holiday that her family would take part in, especially not after her mother's death.
"Well, I sent Mystic to my father, asking if he would buy me a costume and he sent my owl back with... this!" Aspen stared at the Winnie the Pooh onesie lying on her bed, almost laughing at the sight of it.
The onesie was a mustard yellow color with a sewn in red sweater. The hood was long and had two, large protruding ears on top.
"It's so cute!" Lillian said, tossing the onesie into Aspen's arms. "I must see you in it."

Dove raced down the stairs, almost tripping over the long red cape that helped her Red Riding Hood costume to actually look like something. Thankfully, Harry decided to be a wolf, a curtesy of being a paired costume.
"Dove? Could you help me with this?" Harry asked, handing Dove the makeup pencil to put a small wolf-like nose on the tip of his nose.
"There we go." Dove sighed, coloring the nose in neatly so it resembled that of a wolf's.
"You guys look awesome! Ready to go?" Hermione said, walking down the dorm stairs in a Belle costume from Beauty and the Beast.
"Of course!" Dove said, grabbing two trick-or-treating bags and handing one to Harry.
Tonight was going to be fun!

Ember pulled up the skin-tight, black leather cat suit as she clasped a black, laced choker around her neck, attaching a small, golden bell to the front as she parted her hair, putting a head band on with black cat ears attached.
She blew a kiss to herself in the mirror before she grabbed her candy basket and head down the long staircase to the transfiguration class, where she met Professor McGonagall dressed as a zombie.
"Why hello Miss McClain." Professor McGonagall said in her scariest tone, attempting to make it raspy and dreadful like a zombie's
"Hello Professor McGonagall. Thank you." Ember said politely as the professor handed her a large slice of butterbeer fudge in a zombie-shaped wrapper.

"Have fun, Hale!" Draco yelled from the leather couch, who wasn't going trick-or-treating, as the students left the common room.
Aspen shook her head, linking arms with Vivid, who was in a Tigger onesie, as she said, "You too, Malfoy!"
"Now, where too first?" Vivid asked Aspen after they exited the common room, and Lillian ditched them to go with Cedric.
