It was almost a month after Cerridwen arrived in Volterra, and two weeks since the throne room and cupcake incidents. Cerridwen's hunch was right, she was baking some sort of blood-pastry about everyday, and enjoying it thoroughly. Cerridwen was in her library, a few books on herbalism and the medicinal properties of herbs spread out around her as she copied down neat notes on the subject, her grandfather on skype with her giving her a lesson on more holistic practices of medicine. Days like this her guard seems to enjoy the most, since if they don't have any duties, they all are welcomed to spread around the library, regardless if they are on guard duty or not. Which of course pleases Cerridwen's very over protective mates. At the moment her entire guard, plus Alec and Demetri were spread throughout the massive library office. Alec was curled at Cerridwen's feet, leaning against her legs and reading a book quietly, Demetri and Cato were playing on the PlayStation and flat screen tv Cerridwen had gotten installed recently, as she enjoys video games from time to time. Acacia and Cassia were spread out at a table close to Cerridwen's desk working diligently on paperwork for the kings. Surprisingly Athendora and Sulpicia had joined them all sometime while Cerridwen was distracted as they were pouring tomes that looked older than her mates. It looked like Lucius was working on knitting a blanket while Atticus leaned against him quietly conversing with Ingrid who had a meditating Valeria at her feet.
There was a comfortable peace permeating through the library, quiet chatter, and the occasional sound from the video games sounding throughout the room. The peace was disrupted however, when Heidi and Corin wandered in with a large wooden shipping box, which looked comical being held by tiny Corin.
