calum couldn't wait to spend time with michelle. everything going on at work at home was making him more anxious and angry as usual. "i'm glad we get to spend more time together, i was a little nervous you were gonna choose the live bait over me." michelle said.

"she's not that bad. i was just gonna take her to get some regular clothes so she didn't have to wear her school uniform all the time."

"why didn't you just make jason do it?" michelle asked. "i did make him do it, i'm going out with you aren't i?" michelle leaned over and kissed him once the light turned red. "you always make the right choices."

when they finally got there, calum gave the car to the valet and they were seated in a private section overlooking the entire restaurant. "wow, this place is really nice. how did you find out about this?"

"well, it's actually my restaurant." calum furrowed his brows. "who'd you buy it from?" calum asked. "i didn't buy it from anyone. it's my restaurant cal. i came up with idea, i had the money, it's all mine." michelle said proudly.

"i thought you hated the food business, not to mention you're more into fashion and that sort of stuff." calum said. "i still am. i just wanted to try something different. you should try different things too calum." she cooed.

calum could recognize a sales pitch from a mile away. "i'm not getting involved em, alex would kill me." calum said. "alex doesn't even know about this. i told him i was investing in some property, which isn't a lie, i just didn't give him all the details and he didn't ask."

"so he'll kill you, then he'll kill me." calum teased. michelle sighed. "papi listen, i think you could do some good with amour. you have more donors than anyone across the east coast, let alone anyone in new york. i can give you all the paperwork so you can look over it and whatever else you want."

calum looked through the menu and liked what he saw.

this restaurant serves primarily french cuisine, something calum was very fond of, not to mention their wine and champagne selection was full of his personal favorites.

"you must really want me in on this, i've never seen so many of my favorite foods." calum said.

"everything about this is special cal. from the food to the drinks, even the set up. i had you in mind when i did everything because there's no one else i trust to be a partner with. even if you buy it all from me, i know you'll take care of it."

"you know that's not how i do business." calum sighed. he got up and stood over the balcony. all the tables were full and the smell from the kitchen was to die for. the interior design was impeccable, and the cool tones of lavender and burgundy made everything feel like sensual experience.

"i'm not like your other business partners. i'm more than that and you know it. you also know how i handle business and i won't screw you over." michelle said. she stood next to calum and held his hand. "i'll need time to think about it alright?" calum turned to face his past lover as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"that's okay, because i know you'll make the right decision." calum smiled as he leaned and kissed michelle sweetly.

as the night came to a close, when calum walked through the front door, all his stress seemed to have disappeared. he took of his blazer and headed to his office to finish up a few tasks. when he opened the door, jason was there waiting in his chair.

"i thought you hated sitting there, you said the leather makes you itchy." calum said. "it does, but you and i need to talk." jason said. calum furrowed his brows as he sat on the couch facing jason. "what happened this time? you two had a hard time shopping?"
