People pushed by one another through the sidewalk, their voices filling the air as the distant sound of destruction was growing more and more present within the city.
'The center of the commotion is where it started.'
The green-haired male pushed through the crowd as fast as he could, refusing to look back with each passing step he took through the overcrowded walk. His head was racing, remembering the scene at the train, images still vivid as if he was still there. Sitting on the train with Gran Torino, preparing to do a patrol within a city, the wall of the train being opened, the thing that could only be described as grotesque crawling within the compartment. The confusion and fear that consumed the air.
'But what's with this guy that looks like nomu?'
The destruction at USJ, the first time he had ever seen such a horrible thing. Eyes filled with nothing but hollowness. How easily it had over around the grounds while also containing such massive amount of strength able to easily pin down his teacher and classmate within seconds that it seemed like they had stood no chance. The look of pure agony met with injury, the desperation she held when she had met his eyes. A face that could only scream out for him to save himself. It had only been stopped by All Might at full force and even then, there had been support. Who knows what might have happened if the other pro heroes hadn't arrived on time? Who knew how much damage one of these things could do when placed within an environment entirely filled with civilians? There was no telling what could happen.
'If he's got crazy power like the one at USJ...It won't just be Gran Torino that'll be in trouble-the whole city will be!'
The reminder.
'Iida, who's doing his internship here, will be, too!'
His heart clenched.
'What should I do? Think! What would be the best thing to do?'
"Tenya!"
He halted, his head whipping towards the dark alleyway from where the voice came. He headed it again, a short gasp escaping his mouth upon his relegation. He wasted no time as his feet carried him over to where it was coming from, the concern he had felt before coming full forth upon his face so easily. Only after he had come into the clearing did another gasp escape him, the scene of an incoming truck coming towards him before exploding into a mess of bright reds and yellows. His arm had moved over his eyes, guarding him against the sudden introduction of light. It was all too fast for him to follow as the nomu attacked once more, a gust of wind arising. Another one was already moving up as Midoriya's eyes finally adjusted, the grunts of another hero coming from beneath its hold.
'Oh man...' the male thought, watching the sight with disgusted interest. 'What is this?'
This was far more chaotic than he had anticipated, the ongoing fire swirling around the area and sounds of running people not helping ease any of his worries. He could only watch on with horror as the scenes kept going, the heroes to right attempting to deal with the destruction to the best of their ability. His ears caught one voice, in particular, his attention turned towards the duo.
Normal hero: Manual. The exact hero Iida had been interning under.
His feet had already begun moving once more, following the hero as best as he could. He could hear the hero's troubles just over the fighting, his ears most likely catching onto the mention of Iida running off somewhere. That stopped in his chase, his mouth opening in a gape and brows furrowing.
'He went off somewhere? At a time like this? That diligent Iida did?'
Before he could question it anymore, a woman had placed herself in front of his body and successfully blocking him from the street, watching the demolition with a dedicated amount of attention. The embers continued to fly through the air, small sparks of light filling the air. "Hey, you're in the way!" she called out. "Get back!"
