You were putting some books away when someone walks over and they first stopped and looked shocked then cleared their voice "hi I'm the new defence against the dark arts professor and I was wondering if you have any books on it? I wanna read up as I do some work." They say and you nod as you smile

"Sure follow me." You say and you then you start grabbing books but their was a lot "Wow I guess there's a lot need any help carrying them back? I have my own little assistant who can't keep her nose from helping people or from a book." You say and they shake their head

"It's fine I got it." He says looking at you "You know I thought librarians were old and dressed badly but your the completely opposite." He says and you smile

"Well yeah I guess both our jobs have stereotypes attached to them don't they?" You say and he looks confused

"Oh what is it?" He asks and you laugh

"You know quitting in a year and sometimes having ties to Voldemort you know weird how that works or they tried to kill my best friend Harry on purpose or on accident." You say and they nod

"Yeah well I guess that's true y/n granger." He says and you stopped

"I don't think I said my name sir so how do you know it." You say and he chuckles

"We dated for what 4-5 years now you know who I am." He says and you realized he was Draco malfoy your ex boyfriend he's a defence against the dark arts teacher? Wow never expected that didnt he complain about school? Not he's a professor what? This doesn't seem like him no way this is actually Draco is it really him?

"Wow Draco malfoy a defence against the dark arts teacher sorry just super shocked you complained about school now your back?" You says and Draco laughs

"Yeah weird how that turned out guess you really Had a big impact on me making me completely change on what I wanted to do." Draco says and you nod

The whole reason you both broke up was because you found out about his dark mark after he showed you, he was trying to get you to join the death eaters. So you both can still be together when you refused and said it's me or the death eaters he choose the death eaters over you "Wow I truly didn't recognize you though maybe you being polite was what threw me off." You say moving an annoying piece of hair that was in your face behind your ear as you hand him the last book

"It's fine I broke your heart in a terrible way and I almost killed you I bet you don't wanna see my face again." He says and you sigh

"I did feel like that for a few years but I got over that but now I really need to check on my helper she seems to have zoned out into her book." You say and Draco nods and watches as you walk off and the girl who was your helper reminded Draco of you but she looked a lot like him "I think your late for class now go you can come back and read later." You say and she nods

"Yes mo– ma'am I'm sorry I forgot I can't call you that at school." She says and then she runs off and you sigh as you go back to work

Truth is that girl is your 11 year old daughter yes you had her when you were around 16 almost 17 your 27 now going to turn 28 soon and her father you didn't want in her life he was at the time a bad influence for her and his family

Hours later as you were working you realize Draco watching you a lot as you work and if you both met eye contact he would look away quickly you were putting a book back when your stepping stool fell from underneath you and you almost feel to the ground but Draco caught you

"Hey you ok?" He asks and you nod

"Yeah and I know just who did that I swear Delilah being a prankster today huh? Did your uncle teach you this? Well you didn't go back to reading well bad choice for you, better start running." You say and Delilah shrieks and runs off and you laugh *I don't know what to do now I know Draco changed now but their was definitely a good reason I didn't tell him he got me pregnant. For one he was a death eater, he tried to kill me because his father told him to if Harry wasn't there I would have died that day, but now do I tell him or not? I truly don't know*
