I was writing on the board in class when I overheard a conversation
"You know Delilah your mom's a librarian here how stupid is that like how poor are you again? Don't you live with your grandparents during the summer." Someone says and I dropped my wand which I had in my hand and everyone looked at me and I kept listening in as I continued to write
"My mom isn't stupid she's amazing she is so clever and smart and brave! She raised me as a 16 year old all alone with out help! She's my hero!!! And so what if I live with my grandparents! I have the best family ever!!"
Delilah says and the girl laughs
"You don't even have a dad loser." The girl says and Delilah looks at her ready to punch her
"I DON'T NEED A DAD WHEN I HAVE MY AWESOME AMAZING MOTHER!!! WHO RISKED EVERYTHING TO PROTECT ME!!!" Delilah says almost crying
"You know your weak for a Slytherin I don't even know how you even became one. Cry baby!" The girl says and Delilah throws something at her fed up and I turn around
"Ok you two let's stop it look no matter what family you come from it doesn't matter your you and you all can't stop that. Also the sorting hat is never wrong." I say and then someone asks what house I was when I was here "I was a Slytherin my whole family has been for years so for me It wasn't a surprise, truly the sorting hat was barely even on my head when it said Slytherin." I say and the kids laugh and I do as well
"So professor malfoy do you have any kids that go here?" Someone asks and I look at Delilah she looked so much like me her hair and eyes but she had y/ns smile and if its true and y/n is her mother and she's 11 then I have to be her father right?
"If I do I don't know about them I've only ever been with one person in my whole life." I say and someone asked who "Well she always had her face stuck in a book she could do mostly any spell or potion flawlessly but I made some very bad choices and lost her I kinda wish I didn't." I say and everyone then felt bad for me which if they knew why they'd say yeah you're an idiot which most people do say *I really need to talk with y/n don't I?*
