Wilfred had accompanied his father to an auction, which consisted of soliciting old factories that previously belonged to the Starrick Company. They were seated in the center, the man who was dictating requests was on a platform, holding a hammer in his right hand. "80 pounds, go one, go two!" The man hits with the hammer. "Sold to William Perkin!"

Held outdoors, next to one of the factories, today the weather had favored it. Wilfred wore his high-top hat along with his usual purple-burgundy costume. He was on his father's right, still wondering why they were both there. "Why do you want one of the facilities, father?"

"Wilfred, I already told you, I have eyes on a specific one."

"But why, father? There is no reason why we want a factory. "

The auctioneer's voice is heard again. "Going once, going twice... Sold to William Anderson!" Wilfred looks at Mr. Anderson in a way as not to be noticed.

"It is already the second he buys." He turns to his father. "What exactly does he do, father?"

"He is the founder of Erith Iron Works, his foundation is no more than five years old but his success is surprising. Young as he is no wonder, he is likely to want to expand the industry to central London. "

"Well ladies and gents, lets move on to the next factory! This small peace in Lambeth was meant for trading! Close to the docks, its perfect to maintain stock and traid! "

"Son, it is now."

"We will start with 50 pounds!" Audwin raises his hand. "60 Pounds! Do I ear more? " Anderson raises his hand. "70 pounds!" Wilfred looks puzzled at Anderson, when he is looking at them Wilfred looks away, Audwin raises his hand again. "80 pounds." Anderson raises his hand again. "90 pounds!" Wilfred looks at his father hoping that he would not commit such an idea. "Do I ear more?" Audwin is thinking. And behold, before the auctioneer could speak, the German raises his hand high. "100 Pounds!" Wilfred looks at his father in disbelief. Anderson gives up as Wilfred came to realize, looking at him again. "Going once, going twice, sold to Mr. Ludwig!" People applaud and Audwin thanks him, despite being astonished by his father's action, Wilfred questioned himself about Anderson and the reason he wanted to get another factory, this only left him more questioned when he looked at him again and he was looking them not threateningly but as if he knew something.

In the afternoon, Wilfred and Jacob strolled through the Vauxhall area, talked about William Anderson, the engineer had left Wilfred doubting his intentions. "And how old is he?" Jacob asked with his hands in his pockets.

"He is in his mid-thirties."

"And do you really think he has anything against you?"

"His face denounced him, he seemed to want to know more about us."

"Hmm." The boy diverts the subject, remembering another. "So your father bought a factory."

"Yeah, this is another one. I have no idea what the purpose is, but ... "The two continue to walk.

"A bit crazy your old man." A child runs and without realizing the two, he goes against Jacob. "Wow, careful lad." The boy was white looking behind him, trying to look for someone.

Wilfred, worried, goes down to the child's level, asks him. "Are you all right?"

"Please let me go! He's going to get me! "
