I felt bad for nico while Thalia teased him but i also felt her staring at me during dinner.
I noticed it first when she had just finished laughing, and then a second time while she was eating. Her blue eyes pierced through me like a spear. Her piercing caught the little remaining light and glinted.
Her short spikes hair stood up and curled like she didn't brush it. I noticed a light bush dust her cheeks when i looked back at her.
She looked away quickly and turned back to annabeth. I felt something between my legs and clenched my jaw.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck no no no no no no no i will not develope a crush on another person! Come on Reyna you know they don't like you back! You cant do this to yourself! Duty first then you can live your life!
I looked back at Thalia for a second and saw her looking at me still. I avoided eye contact and readjusted my position.
Nico looked at me weirdly and i shook my head.
After i was finished with my food i excused myself quickly and once i was twenty feet away from the pavilion i broke into a sprint. I could feel some peoples stares burning into my back as my cape billowed in the wind.
I got to my cabin and shut the door quickly.
