CHAPTER 20

Emily's POV

"Your true mate is Derek I didn't want you to find out because he's the son of the moon god and I just don't want you to get hurt" she said sympathetically

"Is that why I have been having strange feelings toward him lately?" I asked

"Yes now that you know you can go get him I love you see you soon" she said

And before I got a chance to ask about it more darkness took over and I was back at the house.

"D-Derek" I mumbled

"Are you okay? What happened Emily?" He asked

"Your my mate" I said softly, sitting up.

"How?" He asked

"My mom said she didn't.want me to know so she blocked my senses and led me toward other people" I explained "do you not want to be my mate because if so I can understand" I said referring to how I look and act

"I would love to!" He exclaimed and kissed me with a lot passion.

I kissed back not wanting it to end but it did in a few seconds.

"This is perfect now our date will be even more magical" he exclaimed as he picked me up abd twirled me. I laughed and put my hands on his shoulders as he let me down gently.

"I'm happy you're my mate" I said

"I am to" he said as I pretended to faint

"Emily? Emily?" You could hear worry in his voice

I peeked my eyes open and conjured a tiny gust of wind strong enough to blow open the Windows then I conjured water while he was busy trying to close the Windows and splashed it against him then stood up and laughed

"Haha omg you should have seen your face!" I laughed

Then I was outside the earth trembling beneath my feet as it slowly cracked open. I slipped over the edge but managed to grab a hold of the root and molded wings onto my back and flew out of there. The wings disintegrated into thin air

"Derek what the hell?" I screened closing up the earth

"Gotcha" he smirked and walk into the house I was to angry so I shifted and ran as fast as I could away into the human territory because he almost killed me!
