Third year seemed to fly by, with again, little interaction between the two. When they passed each other in the corridors Draco might have glanced at Gia, and Gia might have glanced back, but there were no hellos, or smiles or waves from anyone.

Crabbe and Goyle turned her hair blue as a prank after a transfiguration class in the springtime. Gia had laughed it off, and in fact decided it looked quite good, keeping it like that for the rest of the year. As punishment she spread a rumour that Crabbe and Goyle were dating. Draco heard the rumour. Draco laughed.

Her easy going nature had made Draco's friends become rather fond of her and they became friendly when seeing each other around.

He could call her a mudblood all he wanted but his friends still liked her. Draco felt indifferent towards her. She amused him occasionally and had given him no reason to dislike her personality. This was slightly frustrating to him as he had people who he was friends with, and people he hated, and everyone else was background noise. She didn't fit into any of these categories.
