Take me back!

As I slowly returned to everyone else, my eyes started watering.

"Take me back! Please." I cried.

"Sonic, are you ok?" Tails said.

Everyone was gathered around me as I laid on the ground in tears.

*sniff*

"N- no. I-, I-, my parents."

"Hmm, the gun did malfunction. This is strange." Eggman said.

"My head hurts like shit" I said. "What did you do?"

"We don't know." Tails said.

"Ugh, just-, what time is it?" I asked.

"Almost 8PM."

"What? How long was I out?"

"Almost 2 hours."

What? I've been knocked out for two hours and nobody even tried to help me? It felt like I was out for a minute!

"Shit." I said. "I have to go home, Shadow will be mad if I don't hurry."

As I said that, everyone's faces turned to disgust.

"Uh, well, I don't know why you guys are staring like that, but I'm just gonna go home now. I'll see you guys tomorrow. My head still hurts so I'm probably going to get some sleep. See ya!"

"See ya!" Tails yelled.

As I took the bus home, I finally got some time for my own. Some peace and quiet. I'm in some crazy shit. Not remembering anything. Apparently I'm married, and today I basically got shot. This stuff is crazy.

Next stop: Greenhill

That's my street. I'll have to hurry though. Shadow is probably really mad at me for being gone for so long.

As I got out of the bus, some people stopped and stared at me, like I was some sort of celebrity.

"Mommy, is that Sonic?" A young girl asked.

"Yes dear, but don't look at him. Just walk away."

What?

Did I do something wrong?

Nevermind that, I'm just going to go inside.

As I opened the door, Shadow stood there watching me.

"You're pretty late." He said

"Time for punishment."
