I haven't heard Bella say a word since we left home. I've been trying to make small talk but I've never been the best at that. And I guess I'm not really a person she'd want to talk to. Overall, it just made things more awkward.

In the front, Jasper and Alice were discussing what we are going to do next even though they'd gone over it a million times.

After my failed attempt at small talk, me and Bella resumed our silence so I decided to play a few rounds of candy crush (because I was apparently the only one that brought their phone). I suddenly realised that my phone was on 4%. 4%!
I put it on low power mode but the percent was still dropping rapidly. As I was fiddling with my phone, a cough from the front seat made me look up. Alice, Jasper and even Bella were all starring at me. This is when I realised I had been narrating my entire phone tragedy.
When the embarrassment was starting to fade away, I noticed that Alice and Jasper seemed to have finished their conversation and Bella was back to starring out the window with misery and concern.
"Seriously? More awkward silence?"
