Toby and y/n laughed loudly as they watched tommy finally spin around spotting them.

"YOU COULD'VE JUST TOLD ME YOU KNOW" he shouted walking towards them

y/n laughed again and hid behind toby as he tried to throw something at her. "school time bitchboy" she went to the other side and the three walked into the building.

"we have a test today right" toby let out a sigh looking to his left which was answered by a nod

"try not to fail this time" y/n teased directing herself towards tommy

"i am a man and the best i would never" he claimed loudly "oh also y/n" he grew quiet signifigantly, she tilted her head slightly confused "stay away from a few of my friends, just for a little ok?"

she was just about to ask why before three of them came running up to tommy, one in particular (fake character- will) stopped in front and moved to talk to her. "red looks good on you y/n" will remarked confidently

y/n picked at her fingers nervously "uh thank you !" she tried to act normally but it was difficult considering she hadn't been complimented much. the two continued to talk for a little and every now and then y/n would look back to see toby with a friend and tommy looking slightly annoyed. she ignored the thought and waved goodbye to everyone as she went to her first class.

by now it was lunch time, y/n was in the hallway talking to will and they figured out they had the same lunch block. "so there was actually something i wanted to ask you about" he spoke up suddenly

"hm?" she looked up to meet his gaze and noticed him slightly blushing

"the winter formal is coming up, would you maybe want to be my date?" he offered lightly looking anywhere but her eyes

y/n stopped for a moment. of course she was hoping tommy would ask, and it was like him to be late, but it was in a week, and will seemed nice enough. "yeah that'd be great" she smiled

"oh really?" he looked nervous and looked back to her "great" he smiled and they walked off together
