Cody's POV:
"Wow, I love your shirt!" Chelsea exclaims as she points at the shirt Zoe helped me pick out. It was blue with tiny white stripes and short sleeves. Zoe loved it, so I really hoped that Chelsea would like it. Guess I was right.
"Thanks", I say and smile. "I bought it because of you."
Chelsea smiles and blushes. "You're cute."
Now it's my turn to smile.
As we're walking to the cinema we're passing a parked car with the radio blasting.
"I just LOVE this song!"
"You do?" I ask, turning to Chelsea. It was 'Just a kiss' by Lady Antebellum.
"Yeah", Chelsea answers me with a big smile across her face. "It's great!"
I smile at her while we're walking into the cinema.
I let Chelsea pick film, just because you know, I'm a gentleman. It turned out to be a tragic but still romantic film about a young couple. It wasn't really that good, so I yawned quietly. That gave me an idea. I look at Chelsea. She's really into the film with tears in her eyes and all that. I discreetly stretch my arm out while I yawn once more. Louder this time. And I gently place my arm at her shoulders. She looks at me and smiles.
"That's the oldest trick in the book. You know that, right?"
I smile as I answer. "Maybe, but it works." Then I lean forward to gently kiss her cheek.
Zoe's POV:
They should be on their date now. I bet they're kissing! Taking her to the cinema. What will he do? The oldest trick in the book? I'm definitely not sure about that Chelsea girl...
Chelsea's POV:
Wow, this is going great! I really love this movie and Cody's just so sweet! Suddenly I hear a "click". Then another one... And another one. I look confused at Cody.
"What's going on? Listen."
He looks really focused and then his face goes pale.
"Paparazzi", he whispers. Oh no.
"C'mon!" He takes my hand and leads me out of the cinema. The sound of the cameras shooting pictures won't stop. And out of the blue, a man with a recorder jumps in our way.
"Cody Simpson, is it true you're on a date with this girl? What is her name?"
He ignores the man and we keep running to the car we parked down the road. Take a walk to the cinema? Dumbest idea on earth. But well, I got to admit that I love all the attention. I love being in the center.
Cody waves at our driver and just seconds later the car is started, we're in the backseat and on our way to somewhere else.
"That wasn't good."
I look at Cody. "Hey, babe. It wasn't that bad."
He stares at me. "You're kidding me? Now they now we’re dating and this was our first date. They spoiled it. Keeping relationships a secret wasn't as easy as I thought."
He stares out the window. I look out my window to see another car following us. I saw that car at the cinema. I know that.
"Cody, it's okay", I say as I put my hand on his cheek, turning his head. Now he looks at me and I lean in. I kiss him slowly, making sure the cameras get what they need from the rear window.
