JOE P.O.V.: I smiled when we arrived to the place we would eat it. It was in the hills, far from another people. I knew it was a good choice to go there.

"I really like it here Joe, it seems calm." Demi said while we sat on our table and positioned Rosie beside us both.

"What do you wanna eat?" I asked her and she frowned.

"I don't know, I've never been here...do you recommend me something in particular?" I thought about it and shrugged.

"There's some really good pasta." She smiled slightly and nodded.

"I'll be eating that then."

"Me too." I said and we both looked to our side to check in Rosie, who was whimpering.

"Oh baby, what happened?" Demi asked her and I couldn't help but smile at how much she cares about my baby.

"She's probably hungry too." I said and grabbed her in my arms carefully before Demi handed me her bottle of milk.

I started to feed her while Demi just looked at us patiently. I glanced at Rosie and kissed her forehead softly.

"I haven't told anyone about it but I think I'm gonna be out of the country for a while." She whispered  and I frowned surprised at her words.

"Out of the country for a while?" She nodded and I bit my lip. "Where are you gonna go?"

"Umm, the UK." My eyes opened widely and I nodded.

"The UK...why?"

"I'll be working on a movie but they asked me to move there for about a month or two...and I think I'll say yes."

"You'll go then..." I whispered and she openes her mouth to talk but the waitress interrupted her.

After ordering our pasta, he left and Demi looked at me deeply.

"I hope you have a good time there, there's a lot of good things. I'm sure you'll love it." I told her and she nodded slowly.

"I hope so." There was an awkward silence until Rosie started babbling. We both chuckled and she smiled at us. "Look at that beautiful face you have...you're for sure the cutest 2 months' old baby of the whole universe."

"If we keep telling her those compliments she'll probably be a little vanish when older."

"I don't think she'll be Joe, she's just a baby...in fact, I think it'll help her with her self-esteem and love. There's nothing I want more for her than being able to love herself her whole life."

"Because you didn't, right?" She nodded and then chuckled.

"Not too many people told me compliments while growing up. In fact, I think you were one of the best people that liked to tell me nice things every once in a while. So thank you." I smiled at her and she looked to her hands on the table.

"I was always just being honest, they weren't compliments, it was the truth...but either way, I'm glad I could help you feeling better with yourself while dating with me."

"I pretty much appreciate it."

There was another awkward silence and she chuckled causing me to look at her again.

"What?"

"Nothing, it just feels kinda awkward and I don't know why...but I don't want it to feel this way." I nodded and shrugged.

"Maybe we just ran out of stuff to talk about."

"Umm...maybe." The waitress arrived with our food and we started eating after I left Rosie back in her stroller. We were eating peacefully when we heard flashes from around us. We looked to the entrance of the restaurant and saw a bunch of paparazzies getting pics of us, desperately.

"It lasted too long to be real." I said and she laughed before nodding. "We can leave whenever you want to."

"We won't leave, but I'll give them something to talk about." I frowned and she turned to them before putting hed middle fingers in the air at them and mumbling 'fuck y'all' which made me laugh out loud.

"They'll definitely talk about you being a bad influence to Rosie for doing that kind of stuff."

"They can legit suck my cock...well, if I had one, they could." We laughed and I nodded.

"Once we finish here, I'd really appreciate you going with me to my place and taking care of Rosie for a while...I think I'm gonna need some sleep."

"You look like it so yea, don't worry...I'm free all day."

"I should start working again but I don't know, she's too small to leave her with a babysitter...I don't know, what you think?"

"I think she's really small still but...maybe you could get a really really good babysitter and have her taking care of Rosie just for some hours a day."

"How many hours would be okay?"

"Maybe three?" I titled my head and looked at my baby.

"I just would hate myself a lot if anything ever happened to her while I'm working."

"Joe, there's things that you won't be able to stop her from experiencing. Pain is one of it. Both physical and mental...even emotional. She's a human too, a tiny one but a human...I know we all want her to be always happy and safe but there's things we can't stop her from living."

"I just know Sophie would do anything in her power to stop our baby from feeling any bad emotion or feeling." Demi nodded and bit her lip.

"But Sophie would've understood that sometimes we gotta accept life with its adversity. If something ever happens to Rosie and you're not home, that's the way it was written to be...I know you love her more than anything in your whole life, but you gotta let her learn and live just like you did. She deserves it." I nodded.

Demi was being honest and I knew she was right. But who on earth wouldn't want to protect their children from all the bad things of life?

"Thank you." I whispered and looked at Demi.

"For what?"

"For always opening my mind. You really are the best godmother I've ever seen. I'm sure Rosie will always love you for everything you're doing for her and me. We don't deserve you."

"You deserve every amazing thing in life...and I already told you I'm always gonna be there for you and that beautiful baby of yours."
