"Welcome Home, Richard. Alfred will show you , your room."

"Yes, Master Bruce owns lots of companies, and his parents were wealthy too."
"Parents. Where's Bruce?"
"Ahh, hm, 'work' takes most of his time."
"Oh, I wish my dad was here. He was always here."
"Supper is in 10 minutes." And Alfred left with a sadden face.
Day 2
"Master Dick needs you."
"Busy. Looking for Zucco."
"Oh, if you been with him, he talks about him. And how he wishes his dad was back because he was always there."
"Sad, now. Here any news on Zucco?"
"Bruce Wayne! I will not let this boy not have a father. By signing those adoptive papers you agreed on loving him!"
'Since when are you my father?' Bruce Thought
"Your right Al. Let's eat!"

"So Dick, meet any friends on your first day?"
"Yeah, her name is Barbara. I think her last name is Gordon."
"I know her father."
"Cool. So..how's work Mr. Wayne."
"Please, Bruce, and good."
"Make any friends"
"Yeah, my Secertary."
"Secertary. Nice name."
"Ha, want cake?"
"Who's birthday is it?"
"Yours, in a couple months. The Circus gave it to you."
"Happy birthday to me!"
Day three...
"Hi Richard"
"Hi Barbara."
"So.."
"Are we friends, right?"
"Uh, yeah"
"Then you call me Dick."
"Hi Dick, I'm Barb."

"Full name? Are you mad?"
"No, I'm happy!"

"Barbara said I could call her Barb! And I told her she could call me Dick."
