RoNakshi FF : Lovers' Leap (SLOW UPDATE)

Chapter 9

“Rohiitttt” Sonakshi almost screamed his name…. and he came rushing … “Kya ..kya hua… chilla kyun rahi ho...” little panicky and the next moment Sonakshi clung to him…  “rohit.. who.. who..wahaan dekho..cockroach hai…its gonna fly.. Rohit….its ewww.. pleaseee nikalo usse…” Sonakshi said still shouting, and clutching to Rohit’s shoulder …
Rohit was just staring at her… and she spoke again…”Dekh kya rahe ho..nikalo usse… its creepy… I hate them..”
“Sonakshi …”
“Sona!!” she glared..
“haan wahi.. sona… are you for real.. cockroach hai.. sher nahi jo tumhe kha jaayega.. calm down”
“Dekho Rohit ..bakwass mat karo.. yeh gyaan ka pitara band karo ..aur nikalo usse… and what the hell is it doing in my part of the cupboard? Tum saafai nahi karte the doctor hoke.. chee Rohit..”
Rohit was trying hard to control his laughter… she was just going on..
Suppressing his laughter …he kept his hand over hers …
“Sona…relax… nikalta hoon… stop panicking.. and ismein mere doctor ho ne se koi lena dena hai..samjhi..(he chuckled) and mujhe lagta hai..yeh cockroach bhi tumhe miss kar raha tha..isiliye yahaan reh gaya…” (He tried to joke around…)
“tumhe hasi aa rahi hai… Mazak band karo aur nikalo usse… its ewww..”
“Sona… will you stop panicking for sometime….kuch nahi karega ..mein hoon na..”
“Nahi..Rohit.. I just don’t like them…” and she went squealing all over again…
It was time for Rohit to actually take situation under his control..
He held her hand and brought her in front of him… held her arms and pressed them… Sonakshi had closed her eyes with a scrunched forehead… anticipating that the cockroach would land on her next…
“look at me Sonakshi… look at me Sona…”
And she slightly opened her eyes hearing his soft voice…
“Kuch nahi hoga tumhe..relax…its just a cockroach…calm down.. breathe in breathe out.. mein hoon na… relax… you move that side ..i will remove it…. Ya.. just get me the spray from the other side of cupboard...” Rohit said softly... and his touch and voice worked like some magic wonders on her … she calmed down… and rohit slightly brushed passed a tear drop which had formed in her eyes because of the panic.
She did as said… and in no time the cockroach was out of her sight …
“bas ..khush… now there’s no your type of lion in the room”
He joked…
“Rohit..” and she give a fake stern look ..
“Acha baba..sorry”.. (and he muttered to himself.. “thanks to the cockroach.. & chuckled)
“kuch kaha tumne?”
“nahi toh..kuch suna kya tumne..” rohit suppressed his smile..
She declined… “mein taiyar ho jaati hoon..kab tak nikalna hai?”
“In around half an hour, tum ready ho jao.. Mein yeh signatures upload karta hoon.. And we will start”
“Ok.. So mein ready ho ti hoon.. Where are my dresses ..”
“Wahin toh hai… Ek minute.. Tum yeh kehna chahti ho ki.. Tum saree pehenke mere saath beach pe chalogi? Are you serious??!”
“Of course not Rohit…  I am asking about my kurtis..”
“Ohh.. Who bhi wahin hai… But no wait.. You can’t wait kurtis as well..”  And he smirked..
“Then?!” Sonakshi questioned being clueless..
“Jab tum rest mar rahi thi.. Tab maine shankar se kehkar tumhare liye.. Jeans aur top mangwa diya hai.. Woh issi cupboard ke left side pe hai..”
Sonakshi smiled.. “Waah Mr. Sippy.. Not bad.. Ok as you say.. I will just come in some time”
“Yeah sure”

Sonakshi stepped out of the washroom wearing a light blue top and black jeans, complementing hair skin colour with minimal make up and she was looking pretty with hair left loose.
Rohit lifted his gaze up from the phone and he couldn’t help but smile looking at her.. And she caught his gazes through the mirror and he signalled her a “you are looking pretty” and her lips curved into a smile…  she signalled him if she should left her be or tie it.. He gave a thought.. And signalled back to leave it loose.. She scrunched her nose and said no.. He signalled.. Why.. And she said “beach pe chip chip ho jayega.. I will tie it..” , he reluctantly agreed…
“kaunse earrings?” she showed two pairs of studs, one white and another blackish blue..
He walked up to her and they stood in a inch's distance, their eyes glistening with a spark and it locked.. “Mein pehna doon?” He asked for  permission, she was unsure, but anyhow nodded…  He took the blackish blue one with a rose design, and she turned towards the mirror, He touched one of her ear and she closed her eyes, he smiled at her reaction… He made her wear the earrings and kept glancing at her in between and observing her reactions..
“Hogaya” he softly whispered in her ear  and she opened her eyes.. And they were slightly moist and that didn’t ho unnoticed by him..
He turned her around, her back facing the mirror, and he in front of her..
R : Kya hua .. Yeh annkhein tumhari phirse nam kyun hai??
S : Who mein.. I mean.. Tum who mujhe aise..
R: mein tumhe aise…  so basically.. Tumhe woh raat phirse yaad aa gayi.. Kyunki tumne aise imagine kiya tha…
Sonakshi was shocked for split second.. as he just voiced out everything accurately. And she could only nod…  but the next minute..
S : Tum.. Yeh sab tumhari hi galti hai..
R: wait.. What..
S: Haan aur nahi toh kya haan.. Ek baar ke liye tum seedha upar aake mujhse baat nahi kar sakte the.. Haan.. Sabke saamne tamasha karna zaroori tha.. Aur aur.. (And she starts hitting him on the chest) Bada intelligent intelligent bolte phirte ho…  kya hua tha tumhari intelligence ko tab haan.. Woh heart whatever app ke chakkar mein.. Tum mobile naam ki cheez bhi bhool gaye nahi… ek message tak nahi hua tumse.. (She still continues to hit him and tears roll down her eyes)
Rohit holds her hands and pulls her close and hugs her tight..
R: shhh.. Sushhh…  shhh… Sona…  (and he keeps stroking her hair.. while she lets herself be .. and starts crying once again…
S : Rohit… agar tum.. tum uss waqt ek bhi ishara de dete na.. hum yahaan nahi hote.. Jahaan hum hain.. Hum kuch kar sakte the…  we could have done something.. Tumne bracelet bhi le liya tha Rohit…

Rohit just holds her tight and keeps stroking her hair and drops a soft kiss on her hair…  he holds her in his embrace till she calms down…  as he hears the soft sobs coming.. He breaks the hug.. and chins up her face with his fingers so that she can face him..
R : Better?? Yeh dekho tumhara saara kajal bhi beh gaya.. Ruko mein le ke aata hoon.. Tum laga lena..
S : Rohit.. (And she holds his hand) .. Tumhe kuch nahi kehna..
R (he smiles at her) nahi.. Mujhe kuch nahi kehna..
S : lekin kyun.. (She asks cutely with her tear stricken face)
R: kyunki.. Sona.. hum tab kar sakte the.. woh ab past ho chuka hai.. I know I have been a jerk.. and tumhe, mujhe.. Hum dono ko waqt lagega to heal ourselves.. Aise outburts bhi hongey.. Aur bhi hongey…  lekin agar hum tab kar sakte the.. Toh hum abhi bhi kar sakte hain.. Right..
S : Right…  tum toh emotionally bhi kitne strong ban gaye ho..
R : It’s not as you think… 
S : Matlab..
Rohit just looked into her eyes.. But just let it be..
R: offo Sona.. Tum bhi kahaan mere emotional quotient etc etc ko leke baith gayi…  we have to go.. Come on..
S : Tum baat ko avoid kar rahe ho..
R : Mein kuch avoid nahi kar raha hoon.. (And he looked side ways)
Sonakshi mentally noted.. Jhooth..
S : Right.. Dikh raha hai.. mein face wile karke aati hoon and then we will leave..
R : Sure..

Rohit and Sonakshi came downstairs hand in hand, and almost everyone was out of their rooms, Rohit and Sonakshi looked at each other and the grip of their hands got stronger and they started moving out of the house, but Ajit spotted them..
A : Sona Bhabhi.. Aap.. (And he came running to her.. while everyone else too came along with him..)
Rohit mentally smacked himself..
Rohit and Sona turned to him.. while Sona just gave him a light smile and Rohit glared at her..
Ajit stepped forwards to hug her but Rohit showed his hands asking him to stop.. and he immediately stopped taking a step back.
Veena came forward  V : Sona.. I mean Sonakshi.. Acha hua tum wapas aa gayi..
Rohit gave her one glare…  and Son’s hands on his hand got tighter… 
R :  Hummein der ho rahi hai…  hum jaa rahe hain.. And Sonakshi kahin wapas nahi aayi hai…  (He cut her off and almost pitched his voice high)
Sona held his shoulder and “Rohit..”
And he calmed down….
R : Hum yahaan wapas nahi aane waale…  baaki saari apke pre nup wagerah ka drama.. Lawyer aake bol dega.. We made ourselves clear.
Rohit held Sona's hand and started walking out of the house leaving everyone rooted in the place..
S : Rohit.. Tumhe unki baat ek baar poori toh karne di hoti..
R : uski klo zaroorat nahi hai Sona…  wahi bakwas hota.. Wahi dhong..
S: Rohit.. Family..
R: oh please Sona…  not again.. Please.. And definitely not today.. (He was agitated)
S : ok ok theek hai…  (but she knew.. He has to understand few things)

Sonakshi for once looked at how time has just played out almost the similar way yet things were different, months back she walked out of the house, having none by her side(technically), and the room was filled with similar people. Today she was walking hand in hand with her Rohit, out from the same people, from the same room..
That’s how time is.. everything returns in full circles..
The love she thought then was broken, it is the same thing today, which is leading to a path of healing.. things aren’t best now.. but they are certainly going to get better..
If that was not the time then for their love, it is the time now..
Time and Life.. Both demand acceptance, acceptance of every situation they put you into.

They sat in the car and drove off to Juhu..

The car came to stop, after an hour's drive from Malabar hill,
And by then Sonakshi had dozed off on Rohit shoulder and he too had closed his eyes and his cheeks rested on her head.
Ravi gently called out to Rohit.. And he woke up, only to see Sona sleeping peacefully and comfortably on his shoulder, and he couldn’t help but admire her.. A strand of her hair fell over her face and she scrunched her nose, he slightly pushed that aside, without disturbing her sleep.. “Kitni pyaari lag rahi hai..” he said that a but aloud and Ravi smiled which he didn’t notice.  He knew he has to wake her up.. Warna raat yunhi nikal jaayegi…. He thought.. And smiled..
He whispered softly.. “Sona…”
“Sona.. Look.. we are here.. Utho na..”
“hmm hmm.. And she wrapped her hands around his arms..”
“Sona.. Please.. Utho na..”
“Hmmmmm…” she stretched still closing her eyes..
He thought to himself.. Medicines ka affect toh ab tak nahi rahega…  he tried tO check for her fever..
S – bukhar nahi hai mujhe…  (she finally said) .. Opening her eyes widely.. And smiling..
R – tum uthi huyi ho..
S – haan uth toh mein tabhi gayi thi jab tum mujhe dekhe jaa rahe the.. Aur kuch kaha bhi tha.. She winked at him..
R – what.. . Toh phir yeh natak kyun..
S – kyunki mujhe aise acha lag raha tha…  (she said directly looking at his eyes)
Rohit gave a mischievous smile to her..
R – acha .. Aisa hai.. Theek hai Chalo phir tumhare ghar chalte hain.. Aur phir aaram se aise so jaayengey..
R – Ravii. .
S – Rohit .. Bas bohat hua.. Gadi se utro..
R – nahi nahi.. Sona hai na tumhe.. Sonaaa..
S – jao mujhe baat nahi karni tum se.. And she got down from the car..
Rohit smiled to himself and asked Ravi to park the car or take it for fuelling .. or whatever because it was going to get late for them.. And he got down off the car..
Ravi drove the car.. And Rohit walked to Sona.. who was standing sulking, at a little distance away from where the car was,
He came and stood with his hands behind and him beside her with his shoulders touching her..
R – paani uss taraf hai.. Iss taraf kya dekh rahi ho..
She gave him a look..
R – nahi mein bas yeh keh raha thi ki.. Tum yahaan sulk sulk khelo.. Mein jaa raha hoon paani mein khelne..
S – Rohit. ..
And by the time.. Rohit was already running in the stands towards water.. But backwards..
Sona started running towards him…
And soon they were on sand… with Sona trying to catch him..
R – tumhe sach mein lagta hai tum mujhe pakad paaogi..
S – challenge kar rahe ho..
R – haan kuch aisa hi..  ( and he laughed off)
Sona started running faster.. while he lowered down his speed…  and after good 15 mins.. She caught hold of his hand..
S – dekha pakad liya..
R – bilkul…  kitni strong ho tum..  (He smiled to himself..)
They looked at each other and burst out laughing..
S – speed kyun kam ki..
R – kya farak padta hai…
And he swiftly turned her hand, captivated her in his arms while hugging her from behind..
R – Shhhh…  bohat baat karti ho…  and he pointed her towards the setting sun.. which had left the sky in hues of orange, red, yellow.. And the water shimmered with the golden sprinkled all over… and the wind of the beech came hugging them.. And the water touched their feet..
Rohit kept his chin on her shoulder.. And she was just mesmerized at the sight…
S – Rohit … this is breath-taking.. It’s beautiful.. I have never seen sun setting so beautiful.. As this one..
R – it’s not as beautiful as you..
And she just looked at him..
