Mystic Falls sounded like a small boring place. What's so mystic about it, anyway?

But according to the internet, it was the best place to feast without it being too suspicious. Or that's what Alice Dartmouth immediately deduced after reading about all those mysterious animal attacks.

"Yeah right" Alice murmured in amusement as she closed her laptop, stretching her limps on the large bed she was lying on. "Animal attacks, what do you think, Lilly?"

A weak looking girl was breathing heavily on the floor in front of the bed, her skin was sickly pale and sweaty as she stared up at the ceiling, unmoving. "M-monsters"

Alice paused as she lowered her laptop with casual expression, "Yeah, I know. But I didn't mean that. I meant what you thought about the town" she crawled slightly closer to look at her with a slight disgusted expression, "Hey, stop that. That rug cost a lot of money for you to stain it with your sweat"

"You did this to me" Lilly cried out, struggling to move but for some reason, she couldn't get up or turn her head. "It hurts"

"Of course it does, silly" Alice said with what it looked like a sweet tone but held no emotion "I compelled you not to move at all. But I guess you found a loophole to that, didn't you?"

"You call this a loophole?" Lilly cried out in pain, panting.

Alice stood from the bed, walking closer, kneeling at her side, pointing at Lilly's chest, "You're moving. Loophole"

Lilly allowed tears to fall from her eyes as she gasped out, "I'm bre-eathing, it's not a loophole"

Alice stared at Lilly for a few seconds, eyes void of expression and unsmiling. "Yeah, so silly of me" with a hand, she grabbed onto Lilly's neck, lifting her, ignoring the way the girl chocked and began panicking, "I liked you which was so rare for someone human and yet you screw it over"

"S-stop" Lilly managed to say weakly.

"Look about what you're making me do" Alice pouted, shaking her head, "Ah, well. It was nice while it lasted"

And with that, Alice's face morphed into her real self. Veins crawled under the skin of her eyes as the white turned red and her fangs grew. Lilly couldn't even scream when Alice sank her fangs to her neck, covering her mouth.

It only took a few seconds before life was gone from Lilly's eyes and Alice pulled away, blood dripping from the corners of her mouth as she held a detached head.

Alice chuckled, shaking her head, "Ups. Guess I was way more hungry than I thought" she dropped Lilly's head and body, standing. "Now, Mystic Falls, was it?"

Alice smiled, wiping the blood froms her mouth with a finger, licking it, shrugging slightly, turning around to pick up her already packed baggage. She put on a pair of sunglasses, leaving the room.
