To say Alice was amused Stefan thought he could make her feel again was an understatement. Others had tried and not even one had been close to even spark something within her.

Alice had left Stefan on the ground after she snapped his neck, cheerfully returning to her house.

Shopping was something Alice felt it necessary to blend in, paying with fake bills she compelled to think were real as she walked down the park, slurping on an iced tea, the sun warming up her skin as she eyed the oblivious humans, mentally choosing her next pray.

"Eeny, meeny, miny" Alice pointed to several people, thoughtfully, stopping at a redhead boy, "Moe. Lucky day handsome"

Alice thought it was way too easy to lure him in. She just smiled sweetly, no need of compulsion as she lead the guy who she learned was named James to a deserted alley as he pushed her against the wall, starting to kiss her.

Alice returned the kiss, mentally cheering herself for how easy this was.

"I thought you had a girlfriend?" Alice said between kisses as he kissed her neck. "Weren't you waiting for her?"

James breathed heavily as he pulled away, "It wasn't going anywhere. She'd never do this with me, not until marriage"

Alice raised her eyebrows, "So she's a prude" she stated, placing a hand in his chest to stop him from kissing her again. "And you're a cheater. Usually, I don't care and I go for the girl"

"You're into both?" James asked excitedly, "I wouldn't mind girl on girl action"

Alice smirked, "But where's the fun in finding someone else when I have you right here?"

With that, Alice pulled him closer, kissing him, his jaw, turning them around so James was the one pinned against the wall making him smirk. Alice smiled mischievously, allowing her face to shift.

The smirk fell from James' face as he panicked." What the hell?"

Alice covered his mouth, meeting his eyes, "Don't move and don't scream, darling" she compelled, seeing how he stilled, eyes looking past her. "I was having fun. But, uh, I don't do well with cheaters"

Alice bit his neck, starting to drink his blood. However, before she could kill him, she felt someone grab her from behind, pulling her away from James.

"Hey" Alice pouted in disappointment, now realizing it was Stefan. "Killjoy"

James fell to the ground, breathing heavily as blood fell from his neck.

Stefan glared at her, looking down at James. "You can go" James didn't move, still bleeding, "Get out of here"

Alice wiped the blood from her lips in boredom, "He won't listen to you. I compelled him to not move. I had the feeling you'd be visiting me soon, Mr Goodie shoes"

Stefan stood, turning to her, breathing sharply and tensing at the sight of blood and how she kept smiling uncaring. His skin crawled at seeing the emotionless vampire.

"With good reason" Stefan told her, "If I hadn't been here, you would have killed him"

"Duh" Alice shrugged, "We're vampires. That's what we do"

"Not me" Stefan pointed out.

Alice made a face in disgust, "Oh, you're one of those, aren't you? A bambi eater. That's why you're slightly less stronger"

"I don't eat bambi" Stefan rolled his eyes.

"No, you kill them and drain them of blood" Alice corrected, "That's worse, my friend. Did you know killing animals is a sign of psychopathy?"
