Mouth opened wide with Millions of words
Not a whisper heard, Not even a sigh
clawing at her throat
Her hopes burn and singe her vocal cords
Her mind so active she can barely think
Her pain grieved in a thousand words
Caged in her heart flowing through her veins
Ending in her brain where the words
Fester into her soul making her judge every piece that makes her a whole
The doubts of society
Hold her like a link
Chained to her mind with No prophecies to guide
Her voice but mute. Her eyes but a guide
To see all the world, to silently survive
Not every shadow is a part of the dark
Some unrelenting the others forms of art
She's scared of the unbidding lies
The chains on her throat
Unrelentingly carved by her conscience
Mute by her mind with no injuries to see
Just another girl in a shrine hidden from humanity
The words of the sea, the tides rising high
Your lies but a knife sharpened to grieve
Her skin but meat too many times carved
Into the likes of society
