"I promise..." Kazuichi smiled as he made a pinky promise with Gundham, "I promise I won't tell anyone"
Tanaka smiled and grabbed his hand, "I will lead you to the realm of my demon beast" They both made their way to the forest until they hit a really dark spot.
"Gundham.... I-Im scared..." He mumured, "it will be alright, I promise" It was dark, but Kazuichi was sure Tanaka was smiling.
*swoosh*
Gundham had a match and just lit it up, revealing fire.
"Wow..." Souda giggled, until he looked up, ".... A.. Ahh...." His face went pale, "i-is this your p-pet?" He asked, trying not to let out a scream.
A few days later, Kazuichi got used to the big dog in the forest, so him and Gundham would always go in there to play with her.
"Gundham! I got us ice cream! And for the demon beast" He whispered the last sentence, "of course, hand me the meal for her, I will feed her" He smiled as he grabbed the sandwich from Souda's hand.
"Good girl good girl" Tanaka smiled, patting the Pomeranian on her muzzle, "Gundham... Have you done this before?" Kazuichi asked, tugging on Gundhams sleeve, " I haven't, but I doubt anything dangerous will happen" He said as he patted Kazuichi's head.
He got the sandwich and...
*gulp*
"...." Souda stood there motionless, fear appearing in his eyes.
"Gund... ham...?" He called out, he felt tears come out his eyes, he knew that feeding the Pomeranian was a bad idea, "You..." He started to cry even more as he fell into his knees, "m-my f-... friend..." He looked up at the dog and felt a sudden rush of anger.
"i hate you..." Was all he said to the dog until he heard a familiar voice, "Kazuichi... Wait..."

"Gundham...?" Souda turned around, but no one was there, just the dog, "...' He clenched his teeth and glared at the dog, " LEAVE ME ALONE!" He shouted.
He started running out the forest and finally caught his breath, "Gundham..." Was all he said, he turned back around to see the dog, "... Your still here?" He asked, ".... Go away.... You killed my friend, I don't want to see you..." He said, trying to hold in his tears, but ended up failing, "GO AWAY!"
The dog just stood there and tilted her head, "... Your not listening huh?" He grunted, he turned back around and continued his walk to his house, his eyes were red, his nose was stuffy, his heart was broken.
Why you might ask? He didn't really see Gundham as his friend, nor did he see him as his rival. If he were honest, he admired the boy. He loved him...thats why he was so angry...
"GO AWAYYYYYYY!"
He fell onto his knees and started tugging on his hoodie, "I need help! I need help! I need help!" He cried over and over, until someone passed by.
"Sunny, what's up?" His mother asked, "m-my friend died..." He cried, "friend? Which friend?" She asked kneeling down to comfort the boy,
"... G-Gundham... Gundham Tanaka.." He stuttered, "... Gundham... Tanaka..." His mom's face went into shock.
"Kazuichi... I'd hate to say this but...
Gundham's been dead for five years...."
