3rd Person POV
The Stars and the moon shimmered in the black night sky, In a forest near Grimshade a Fire Dragon Slayer, Bryan sat beneath a large sacred tree in the middle of the woods
He and Jakey had just broken up due to Jakey now having a liking towards Alex, The Bee Boy of the Protectors Guild. He acted as if he was alright with it but he really wasn't, They're break up was the day where Bryan was going to propose
Mania was also on an S class mission without him making him anxious on what could have happened to her, Bryan wasn't really in a great spot. He felt like he wanted to leave the guild but he didn't want to feel like a wimp running away from his problems so he decided to take just a small break from the guild's chaos
He picked up a scent as he heard leaves getting crunched up, He looked over to see Allumos walking out of a bush, It seems like he hasn't notice him yet "Gosh! These stupid bushes!"He groaned "Allumos? What are you doing here?"
Allumos flinched hearing his voice "Oh goodness! Bryan! where did you come from?!"He asked as Bryan looked at him confused "I was here the whole entire time?"Bryan answered confused "Oh.. Well i must have not seen you.."Allumos whispered to himself "Anyways! What are you doing here?"Allumos asked him
"I asked first, What are you doing here?" Bryan stood up, Allumos sighed "This is where i'd like to train, Its a pretty nice and calming place"Allumos answered his question looking around "What are you doing here though?"Allumos raised an eyebrow at him
"Well.. Uh.. I was just here to.. take a small break away from the Protectors Guild Chaos..?"Bryan answered unsure of it "Did something bad happened?"Allumos asked in curiosity "What?! N-No! Well.. Maybe?.. Wait.. No!"Bryan panicked
"Uh-Huh? Its easy to tell that your lying, What happened in your guild?"Allumos asked walking over to Bryan "Erm.. uh.. Well.. Me and Jakey broke up in the day where i was supposed to propose..?"Allumos looked at him the only thought in his mind was how he knew Jakey didn't deserve him
"I mean.. Im alright with it though!.. As long as Jakey's now happy with Alex.."Bryan faked a smile and chuckle as his smile slowly dropped, Allumos sighed "I can tell that your not alright.. You were going to propose and that was shut down by a break up.. He chose somebody else over you.. He doesn't deserve you, You should move on.."
Bryan looked at him silent, He crossed his arms as he looked down, He was in a defensive posture showing that he didn't want to show any weak signs "Its not easy to move on.. I still love him.."Tears formed in his eyes as he bit his lip holding back a sob, Allumos didn't know what to do but one thing came across his mind 'Hug Him'
Allumos followed what the thought wanted him to do as he pulled Bryan into a hug shocking the other "I know its not easy.. But one thing that can atleast help you move on.. is to let all your feelings out.. atleast avoid any subjects including him and his boyfriend.. It will help you move on quickly.."Allumos didn't even know where he got those from, It just somehow came out of his mouth
Bryan stayed silent before hugging back, Allumos noticed that he wasn't letting himself cry "You can cry if you want.. You need to let go off the pain your feeling.."Bryan stayed silent once again as he cried onto Allumos's chest, Allumos sighed rubbing circles onto his back to help him
After a few minutes of Bryan crying, Bryan had stopped as he let go off the hug, His eyes puffy red from the salty tears "You alright now?"Allumos let go as Bryan nodded "T..Thanks.."He stuttered out "Any time Bryan.. Per say.. I know this isn't the right time to ask this but.. Would you mind joining Grimshade?.. I know The Protectors Guild is like your home now but.. I could tell that you don't feel you belong there.. Or you have a very hard time.."
"So may i ask if you would like to join our guild?.."Bryan stayed silent "I'll.." Allumos expected him to say no but his answer shocked him "Think of it.."Bryan smiled at him as Allumos looked at him shocked "Wait.. Really?.."Bryan nodded "Thanks again Allumos.. I'll be going now so you can have your training.. I'll meet you here tommorow if i made the decision.. Bye" Bryan waved at him as he walked away dissapearing into the woods as Allumos watched him confused and shocked
The next day Bryan had already made his decision, He was going to leave the Protectors Guild and join Grimshade.. It wasn't for a selfish reason because he didn't feel like he fit in or he wanted more training but the real reason was that he wanted to gain more power to actually have a much better chance to protect the people he loves
Grimshade was a guild that only kills its targets, Not innocent people. The training there was also difficult for him to handle and that was what Bryan wanted, He walked over to Lo'pho talking to Kay and Mania "Oh hey Bryan!" Mania noticed him immediately as he ran towards him hugging him "Hey Mania" Bryan hugged her back
"You two are for sure very wholesome" Kay giggled as Mania did too, Both of them pulled away from the hug "Well hello Bryan, Are you ready for training?"Lo'pho asked as Bryan shook his head "I actually need to talk to you and Mania about something" Lo'pho looked at him confused "Oh?" "Ooh! Im interested!"Mania smiled
"Well then follow me" Lo'pho walked to another direction with the other two following "I'll see you three at the training grounds!"Kay morphed into a fox running away to the training grounds as Lo'pho, Mania and Bryan walked infront of the guild to have a talk
"So what is this something you wanted to talk about?" Lo'pho asked "Well im.. Leaving the guild" Lo'pho and Mania's eyes widened "WHAT?!"Both of them shouted shocked "What's wrong?!" "Do you not feel like you fit in?!" "Did we do something wrong?!" Lo'pho and Mania started to ask so many questions as Bryan sighed
"Mania! Lo'pho! Calm down!" Both of them stopped as they looked at him "Why do you wanna leave though?!" Mania asked worried and panicked "Im leaving because i need to train myself harder and the Protectors Guild doesn't seem like the place i belong to.."Bryan answered
"What Guild are you joining then..?"Lo'pho asked "Grimshade.. I mean.. Its a guild full of Dragon Slayers and i can train with them to know much about Dragon Slayers, Grimshade might be an assassin guild but its a guild that only kills its targets that had done something very bad and will be punished with death.. Joining Grimshade also helps me protect people i love more.."Bryan explained
Mania and Lo'pho looked at each other before looking at him "If that's what makes you feel succeeded then sure but if you don't feel like you fit in with Grimshade then you can re-join the Protectors Guild anytime!" Lo'pho smiled "Yeah.. But.. You'll still visit us.. right?"Mania asked
"Of course! You guys are still my family even if im not apart of the guild anymore"Bryan smiled at them "Oh and since i was the Second in Command in the Protectors Guild, Im giving that role to Mania" Mania looked at him in shock
"Wait.. What?! Why me?!" "Your powerful as it is and your an S class wizard, To be honest.. You probably deserved to be the Second in Command since the start" Mania stayed silent before pulling Bryan into a hug as she pulled away a minute after
"Well.. Lets take that Protectors Guild Mark off then" Lo'pho smiled as Bryan nodded "Mania? Could you tell the others of the news?"Bryan asked as Mania nodded rushing in the guild
A few days after, Bryan had joined Grimshade and it was pretty fun, Him and the Grimshade Members get along pretty well, Bryan learned more about Dragon Slayers, Can control his power easily now and He can control his anger by meditating with Seek and Colin, Him and Allumos are.. Well.. A new found couple
