Joanne POV

"Oh girls look it's Joanne and her daughter Caroline..", I laughed nervously towards Iris, she was always the sarcastic one. "It's actually Carrie..Iris.." I looked at all of them as I saw their daughters looked displeased. "Ready for a drink Jo.."

I nodded, "So ready Kristiana..", we left to go get a drink as they mentioned all about their husbands and works and even Hayley mentioned she stole someone else's man. "So how are you and Trevor doing.." asked Iris as I looked at her, "we may get a divorce.."

Iris and the girls spit up their drinks. "What happened?" One asked, I sort of explained to them as they laughed. "Well we have the perfect new man if you're looking into dating again very early.."

My eyes widened with a raised brow as I sipped on my mimosa. "Who would that be?" Avery looked at me, "He is a magician, we all saw him perform at City Bank Halls..you should come.." Avery showed me a picture of the guy as he did look cute.

"His name is Caleb Covington..he likes everything similar to you. Magic, dancing, singing, glitter, the color purple, and even loves kids..and music.." I smiled, "I don't know, I haven't told Carrie yet and to start dating again seems to soon.."

Avery looked at me, "Than do what all teens do on a first date, test it out for a week if nothing clicks than ghost him.." I looked back at the photo, "fine..I'll try it out for a week.."

1 Day Later

Joanne POV

I got all dressed up as I heard Carrie was practicing her music, I looked at Nancy and told her to keep an eye on her. I left as I walked to the nearby coffee shop since that is where I was planning to meet this Caleb guy.

"Seems like your in for a treat.." I looked as it was the guy in the photo. "Not really good at pick up lines are you?" He laughs and shook his head no. "I am Caleb Covington..", "Joanne Wilson.." I said as he smiled, "So why would you want to date me.."

I looked at him and laughed a little.  "Well funny story is..my friends..well they paired me with you to be honest.." he laughs as I smiled. "Interesting story.." he laughs along.

"Well who wouldn't want to date someone like you..", "Oh well I was recently married but I'm going to file a divorce since my husband was working under a secret gang..so as far as of now I am single.." he smiled, "how interesting again.."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a green emerald necklace. "The green brings your eyes out.." I laughed nervously, "Thanks I guess.."

He looked at me, "Here's a song I made..And this is for you. So listen closely.." he started to make a clapping beat as I stomped my foot and clapped along.

He placed it around my neck, as I felt a little off balance. I nearly fell as he caught me and helped me up, "Doing okay Joanne?", "Doing perfectly fine.."

Alex POV

"You were meant to be watching him!" Yelled Willie, "What was I supposed to do! He sang his way out!" I yelled back, Reggie poofed in the wrong moment, "Why are you two yelling!" I groaned as Willie looked at him, "Caleb escaped on Alex watch.."

"He sang! His voice is like those hypnotic people.." I said as Reggie's eyes widened. "Did he sing any repeated words or location.."

Earlier

Alex POV

I stared at Caleb as he looked at me, "release me you little drummer boy..", "not a chance magic man.." I glared at him as he started to laugh in an evil way. "Then you leave me no chance to do this.." a slow upbeat music started to play. "Oh no..", "Don't you mean oh yes.." he started to dance as my foot starts tapping to the beat. I tried to stop but that didn't work out.

My hands went for the cell as they unlocked the handcuffs, "no..stop it.." I tried my best as Caleb just grinned so evil. "Don't stop it.." he pushed me aside as I fell on the ground. "See you in Brooklyn.."

He disappeared just as I groaned, "I am in so much trouble." I tried getting up and then I saw feet. "Where's Caleb!?" It was Luke as he helped me up, "He is in Brooklyn..", "Brooklyn?!?" Luke poofed out.
