Michael POV

First I heard the rumbling.  Then the screaming.  Then the gunshots.  Then I saw it.  Nero was attacking.

He had Germani surrounding us--which is hard, given the largeness of our camp-- and what I assumed were demigods with swords.  Nero himself was currently knocking down all the buildings in New Rome with a humongous war tank.  It was sure to be the end of New Rome.

We readied everyone.  The first cohort guarded the borders, hoping to keep out any more monsters.  The second took on anything that got past our borders.  The third took easy care of any Germani that thought they could beat our defenses.  The fourth cohort was getting everyone in line.  The fifth cohort attacked oncoming monsters with bows.  And our unexpected guests fought Nero.

Reyna POV

It was the biggest fight I've ever been a part of.  Bigger than the fight against Octavian and Gaea, worse than when Caligula and Commodus attacked the camp.  It was huge.  None of us would've gotten out alive if ir weren't for some powerful, familiar faces.

Meg McCaffrey, daughter of Ceres- sorry, Demeter.  She immediately  wrapped up Nero's ugly war tank with ivy and flowers, which were not ugly.

There was Piper McLean, daughter of Venus- er, Aphrodite, Jason Grace's ex-girlfriend.  I was still not fond of her after she stole Jason from me.  She got to work with talking up Nero.

Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena (I got that one right because Minerva has no nerdy children).  She was Percy Jackson's girlfriend, whom I had also liked.

And of course, the all powerful Percy Jackson, son of Neptune- gosh, I have to remember that these people are Greek!- son of Poseidon.  He lifted up our whole pond with his mind, and sent it flying at Nero's face.

Let's say none of it did anything to stop Nero.
