Chapter 30: D-Day

3rd Person's POV

"He can't just do that!" Jennie screeched  at their boss' decision

"Well believe it or not he just did" Lisa said while arching both of her eyebrows

While Rosé just looked at her with an 'are you seriously making a joke right now?' Look

"He said that it's bad publicity. Would ruin our image or something?" Jisoo pondered

"Unnie...You can still talk to each other. But I guess you can't go out with him. I'm sure Bang PD-nim already knows what to do" Chaeyoung tried to divert the problem into a more positive note, but I guess that the latter was still disappointed.

"I'm sure that this will end quickly and then you can go back with whatever date thingy y'all like to do. Be patient Jen." The eldest said

"I guess I should..." She trailed off

Your POV

"Why are they demanding of my phone? And you're telling me that I can't go out by myself?" I asked our manager

I just woke up and he tells me that they our temporarily banning me from any media approach. Meaning I can't go reading stuff online or can't contact anyone.

"It's for your own good. I've seen a lot of this situation. Reading those articles and hate comments about you won't do any good" He calmly explained

"I didn't even rea-"

"And I know you've read them so don't bother lying. I've been your manager for a while now, I know all of you like the back of my palm. I also know that you will never do anything intentionally to ruin your career or your life. So trust me on this (Y/n)...Let the management handle this." I looked down

I guess he was right. I don't know how to handle any of this. So I will let them help me

"Fine...only because you gave me that emotional speech that was totally not necessary. I was about to give it anyway." He chuckled lowly then I slowly reached out for my phone and handed it to him.

"I'm just going to pretend that you didn't freak out because I asked for your phone. We won't find anything inappropriate here...Won't we?" He joked

"Hyung! I'm not like that!" Alright I hate this conversation.

"I'm going to head to the office and give them this. Remember what I said okay? Stay safe" He went out

"You can come out now" I yelled, then 7 heads popped out on the door frame of my room

"Umm...Hi?" V awkwardly said. While I just shook my head at disbelief.

"He didn't see you when he got out?" I pondered

"We ran to the living room pretending to watch. But I think that he knows because we were a bit loud...and Jimin was reading a book that was upside down" RM said

"Well you heard what he said so no need to explain it now." I stood up, heading to the living room with them.

"That's rough...Hopefully the issue can subside soon." Hobi hyung said

3rd Person's POV

The boys were getting ready for the interview that they were about to have. The fans were thrilled when they heard  about it and the issue doesn't seem to die down as well.

"(Y/n)? What's wrong?" The eldest asked as the blue haired male paced around the living room

"It's nothing. I'm just...nervous" He muttered while the latter did not buy the younger's answer.
